It seems that many spin outs could've been avoided through better reduction of power and many recoveries could've been made with less braking. Seems like the DOT would do a better job of trying to keep the bridge sanded/salted/de-iced but there is only one clip with a plow truck in it so its hard to judge how well the road is kept clear.

Ice problems I understand. Many of these crashes look like hydroplaning problems. Pools of water on elevated inclines looks like bad engineering to me. I'm no expert. Water drains. Elevated. Inclined. There are no better conditions for the elimination of pools of water. Granted that there are many stupid drivers. This appears to be a stupid road.

@2:58 that was a Subaru Legacy. All wheel drive. I have the exact one it and it's amazing in the snow. Get one because with good snow tires and safe driving it will save your life, unlike all the other pos front wheel drive vehicles in this video. the jetta, cavalier, even the ford ranger drivers need to get a SUBARU.

This is a very dangerous condition, made by a lot of roadsalt. Look at all the "slushy" snow! And the road gets a thin layer of ice under that salty slush. Who came up with the idea of making wet roads in the cold winter season? And becasuse the road LOOKS like a wet summer road, all people are driving in the same speed as in the summer season. And on the top of all this stupidity, I would guess that most of these cars have summer tires too. And then the madness is complete.
