As a guy I can never get this part lol but I was playing Mickey so next best thing and I remember the girl who played her used to say that if we didnt do our role good enough it brought hers down because it was so difficult and I remember playing Mickey so difficult and I felt bad for her cause she struggled with it she relied on us so much so I think anyone who plays this role does a great part as it must be difficult to get in the mind set

I remember seeing this with my drama class on a school trip. An hour or so bus journey with some of my closest friends in school (I'm a bit of a loner, but I always ended up friends with anyone I worked with in drama) followed by ice cream at the theatre and one of the greatest plays I've ever seen - this play has one of my happiest school memories with it.

I had the honor of playing this role last fall. It was an experience I will never forget. There's a vid of me in my favorites singing it at our theatre banquet if anyone wants to watch. This show made me a better actress, and I just wanna say that I want to thank Willy Russell for writing one of the best scripts ever.

I was really surprised when I saw Melanie in this role last night. I'm a fan anyway but she was actually amazing. I think she never gets enough credit for how talented she actually is... she is lumped into the 'manufactured band' category of artists which is unfair to her because she is so much better than that.

I agree <3 - she is one of the most fantastic artist and so amazing and - you can nothing but love her. I was on the show to the opening night - I was burst into tears in the end. I so wish I could see it again :)

My best scene is probably when the twins both die, its so amazingly choreographed :) If you haven't seen this, you really have to! I went 19/11/09, I cried all the way through with amazement and just astonishment :)

All who hasnt een there - you should totally go if you have the chance. The musical was just incredible - everything describable of positive words. It brought out all my feelings and made me cry. And wow. Melanie she was so fantastic. Good job Melanie. I hope I can come and see you again to the musical before the 6 months ends <3
