  • Good for you, Klaus, Good for you

  • @TheBlake138 Who is Klaus?!?

  • Good presentation. Helped a lot.

  • Great video, thank you for the information.

  • Hi, I really do enjoy your reviews, your precise English you humour and your David Attenbourough voice. Thanks to your videos I have discovered new products and solutions. Say, I have one question. Where can I find some "BlackHawk Speed Clips" for a decent price? So far the only Ebay sellers I've found offer them at 4.5 euros a set but with a 25 euros shipping, which is mad. I live in neighbouring France. Is there a EU supplier?

  • @ultramarinegoat Thank you for your kind words! - There is a supplier in Germany that also ships to other European countries (shipping to France is 9.95 EUR): asmc[dot]de. The website is available in French!

  • In my opinion, you should have tucked both ends of the attached pouched underneath the hook tabs of the Speed Clips. It's a lot more secure, and it's still very easy to detach.

I like your channel! Keep it up.

  • I have to say that these don't look very secure. How have they been working out? You should check out the Condor Mod straps. I've found they work better than the Tac Ties and most other systems I've tried and are truly quick release.

  • Thanks for showing these - I wasn't aware of them and they look like the most elegant molle attaching solution I have seen.

  • Gute Review!

Eine Frage: Für das MP Barnacle welche Größe der Speedclips benötige ich?

    MfG

  • Thanks for posting this - I saw the speed clips mentioned in a thread on EDC forums, but it is very helpful to watch a demonstration to see how they work.

  • I love all your reviews and have helped me so much to decide on which Maxpedition product to buy, again this review on the speed clips has persuaded me to buy these also, I have just one question, I know what lengths they come in but what diameter / width are they ? they look about 25 mm [ 1 inch ] but hard to tell, again great work ! ...

  • @gtrxuz This is correct, the width is 1 inch.

  • @stschmalhaus A small tip: the "lips" on the speed clip (that end up facing outwards from the mounting surface) are designed to clip onto the outer rows of webbing on those Mxp-pouches. By doing this you'll achieve less of a floppy pouch and really lock them in place.

  • @903lew Yes, you are right. I sometimes use them like that, sometimes I don't. I just forgot to mention it in my video. Thank you!

  • Always had a bit of a problem with BLACKHAWK! products, mostly due to their constant overuse of both capitals and exclamation marks.

I personally prefer Tactical Tailor MALICE-clips. A more solid lock-up is in my experience impossible to achive.

  • Great demonstration. I use the tacties and they can be a pain sometimes. These look like a great solution.

  • @edgedweapon88 They are. You should give them a try, Keelen.

  • I requested them to have sex and have the outcome have sex with a maxpedition product that does have a belt loop.. When are you going to make a video on that? LOL

  • @GMGvanS Do you think it's fun to be a porn movie director? Anemone doesn't want to do bed scenes with Barnacle. And M-2 (the guy with the belt loop) suffers from erectile dysfunction.

  • @stschmalhaus So... You're not going to make a vid? lol

  • @GMGvanS I'm sorry to disappoint you, George. But I would have to play all roles myself. And I'm sure you wouldn't want to see that. LOL

  • @stschmalhaus HELL NO! Don't apologize, thank God you're not going to make that vid! lol

  • Stefon your recent videos on the Maxpedition iteams really got me going so i went ahead and ordered a little something from Maxpedition :). Once i get it i'll do a quick unboxing. Great demonstration and also thank you for the Maxpedition videos :).

  • @TheLazySpoiledKitty Where did you order this "little something"? I usually order my Maxpedition stuff from EzeeDeal on eBay - trustworthy seller, fast shipping, great prices and very reasonable international shipping rates!

  • @stschmalhaus I ordered it from a website called cqbtactical (dot) pl. Trustworthy seller. I've bough from them 2 times before NO problems at all :). They have all sorts of stuff from knives to flashlights and maxpedition gear and other things we all love :).

  • @TheLazySpoiledKitty And are the prices in zloty reasonable compared to the prices in US dollar? I'm just curious because the EUR prices for Maxpedition stuff are just insane in Germany, France or other EUR-countries. That's why I order directly in the US.

  • @stschmalhaus Well i'm going to have to spoil it and tell you what iteam i bough to answer that question. Let me PM you Stefon.

  • Awesome demo, Stefan. You really sold me on these. I'm gonna get some.

  • @MrJimbofox I'm sure you will like them over the TacTies. The TacTies are great for attaching MOLLE items permanently. But for frequently changing pouches from one bag or backpack to another, the speed clips are a quick and easy solution.

  • at first i didn't think they looked very secure but i completely forgot about weaving them. They look like a pretty good solution i had been thinking about getting some malice clips which people seem to like but this gives another alternative.

  • @freedoomed I've never tried malice clips, but from what I've read it's a pain in the ass to detach them. I still use TacTies for attaching gear permanently. But for pouches that I frequently change from one bag/backpack to another the speed clips are the best solution.

  • Thank you for the great instructional vid

  • @Valerieannleeh You are welcome, Valerie!

  • Ich sehe schon, dieses Video wird mich wieder Geld kosten. ;-) Die Speedclips kannte ich bisher noch nicht. Danke für den Tipp.

  • @aebbelwoy Bitte, gern geschehen.
