  • Why did you ask for Hillary's opinion when you were in the crowd?

  • Stephen is clever to have asked Hillary's position before saying whether he liked Obama's response or not.

If he had agreed with Obama straight away, Hillary would've FOLLOWED. I think she Foolishly thought that Stephen wanted her opinion because he wasn't satisfied with Obama's response. What a coward!

  • Despite his other flaws as a leader, Sadat's move was truly heroic, leading to an enduring peace between Israel and Egypt. (If only Begin had kept his part of the bargain to halt settlement of occupied territory, it would be a very different world today.) Great peace makers like Sadat and Rabin will be revered by history, but sometimes a leader can get so far ahead of the people, he or she appears to be on the other side.

  • The Sadat-like move that the next President should take would be a doctrine called Normalization. The United States would undertake to seek normal relations with every state, and would urge all other states to do the same. We could begin opening to Iran, for example, without waiting for the quid pro quo of others opening to Israel. Normalization recognizes that every state shares the core interests of standing, security, and wealth.

  • Actually, Sadat went to Israel in November 1977 (not 1982), and was killed in 1981. The thrust of the question is what counts, and I'm glad it was selected for the CNN/YouTube debate. Edwards made an outstanding point... worth stressing again and again... that a successful foreign policy depends on being clear about what the US represents in the world.

  • I wish I could ask a question. Actually I could......I think this is a great idea. They should do this more often.

  • Yes lets negotiate with those such as Iran who have revealed their intentions in wanting to wipe certain nations off the face of the map.

  • Nice question for the debate xebec449!

  • Shtaze, the questioner said nothing at all about 'cooperating' with them.

  • Wow - what a sick mofo!

Lets cooperate with the worst thug leaders in the world!! Either re-tard-ed or co-rupt-ed to the bone.

  • Great question, most people would see talking to people as a better solution to common ground than fighting them.

  • That got some interesting responses. Nice question and production.

  • Don't worry. When I get elected we'll be closer to those leaders (dictators). Thanks for letting me air my view.

  • No kidding. Great question, hope it gets aired.

  • This guy has the best looking questions.
