Fun fact: The reason why Buppousou has a different theme than the other bosses is because(according to the game's prestory) Shinra(the Ikaruga's pilot) and Houkaku(Buppousou's controller) fought once before, and Shinra lost.

So I guess this song emphasizes Shinra's desire to win in his rematch with Houkaku.

Oh, well. My current #2 boss theme, right behind We Are Finally Cowboys from No More Heroes. Just... masterful. :)

Recapture is my 2nd favorite boss theme, and We Are Finally Cowboys is my #1 favorite.

Butsutekkai still kicks ass, but it falls in comparison to Recapture in my opinion.

Butsutekkai would be my #10 or so.

(uploader) i know it's your opinion but if you're a type of that can listen to all types of the best OSTs if it was from a game or a movie or real and had a long knowledge with good ears to listen and judge then you'll be more accepted by others ^_^

i'm trying as best as i can to be like these types of gentle tastes ^_^

Hmm... I guess you're right.

I DO like Butsutekkai... I just personaly prefer Recapture.

Still, I guess I'll try to find relations to more people.

If I ever do a countdown on YouTube of my top 20 or so boss music tracks, however, expect to find Recapture at a very high spot on the list.

why not making it more simple for both of us by telling that you like them both without judging with difference to make it better ^^ ?

if you wanted to judge it in front of others you may not end up with better results ... so it could be better to tell that you like them both ^_^

if you want to make the preference between them it's better to discuss it with the people you trust the most or yourself better than asking any people's opinions ^_^

if you want my honest opinion i love them both ^^

For the LAST TIME: I DO like them both, but I personally like Recapture better.

i think the same hard reaction could be bad for your health if it was used in a way to make the other side understands it better , in my kind thought it wasn't preferred to redo it after others acknowledged it but if you prefer it for a good reason i would be happy to accept it if it was told in the best clean gentle performance ... hope you don't get me wrong ^_^

anyway , as we've discussed it's better to tell the honest feelings by making the both sides even for peaceful accepting ^_^
