If you take a quad into water while it is hot, it might crack the engine block... you need to take it into the water almost right after you start it, otherwise you are risking blowing up the engine...

or just dont take it into water in the 1st place

my fourtrax 350 totally stock will go just abover the racks, the stock snorkel goes all the way to the steering area just under it, you gotta keep a steady hand on the gas u let off to fast it could stall out but my little 350 will idle under water, no mods

The stock snorkel is only about as high as the highest point of the seat is. If you want to go real deep get a lift kit of 2 inchs at least 26 inch tires and snorkel that bitch as well as you can using PVC cement on everything and even siliconing your airbox lid.

yes if u still have your thumb on the gas it doesnt matter how deep it is as long as it is snorkeled you can go deeper than the air filter but nice video but next time you are doing water wheelies turn it off 4wd because that jus pulls your front down

The intake on yamahas is right where the gas tank is, so if the tank is above water then your fine, his tank was way out of the water so hes set. I have the same quad
