Correction that the AH-1W not the AH-1Z the Z model or Zulu has 4 Rotor blades and the Engine exhaust is place differently. Look at a picture of the AH-1W and AH-1Z and you will see the difference

You need Bf2 with patch 1.5 and then you better download PR 0.87, not 0.5 :P

no u dont need the spec ops expansion to play i just have the normal version all u have to have is patch 1.50 for battle field 2 then u go to project reality install the core then levels i recommend you use the torrent so it dosnt corrupt the files and it should automaticly make it an icon hope this helps

hey um.. i dwnloaded PR 0.5. but it keeps telling me to update my shorcuts, cause it cant run on BF2.exe, it needs to run on PR.exe . & i have no clue whr it is on my comp. or how to transfer everything to PR.exe & i cant find it. can some1 help me!!!

actually. the 30 mm is on the apache. its got a 30mm chaingun, wit armor peircing, & incidinary abilities. & the the 40mm is on the A-10 warthog & AC-130 Spooky gunship. so the put a 20mm on the AH-1Z Supercobra cause it dosent need that much power. mostly the AH-1z Supercobra was designed for Air to Air, & anti-personel, & light vehicles. i cant say what the other AH-1's were designed for. But i know wat the Z-model was desinged for that purpose since it canb carry AIM-9Z sindwinders.

It's already there. Pretty effective against helos (save for the little bird and its equivalents, they can't be locked on to), but you're going to have to be insanely good or have divine intervention if you want to take down a fighter on full afterburner.

How does the realism compare to ArmA? Can you can one person both pilot and change to gun-cam in the cobra? On the ground, can you jump all over the place, run while reloading, run-and-gun accurately, crosshair vs iron-sight? etc.

u cant change the seat in the cobra without crashing ! yeah u can jump alot but not too high. running and reloading is possible! why not ? its not hard to do that in RL ! when u run u hit almost nothing! but laying down helps alot. there are no crosshair (only shotgun zoomed)

Have you tried running (not just walking) while changing magazines and reloading while keeping your situational awareness? Why not jump at the same time? I'm sure the mod lets you :)

you kidding?the cobra is a beast now.and that map is one of my favorites Al-Basrah,and its a USMC vs Insurgent map,with an extremly dense city the insurgents must hold. the Marines have 2 A-10's and cobras,along with two tanks and apc's at their disposal,while the insurgents have the defensive advantage and many underhanded tricks to defeat teh enemy.good times.

I'm using a Ati Radeon X1600 512MB, 2GB RAM,AMD 2.4GHz Dual core, and 160GB HDD, and I can play BF2 and Project Reality all on high settings, even the resolution is on the highest. Game runs fine, so I'm gussing the game will run fine for you too. All you need for a great experience is 1GB of ram and a card like the X1600.
