Simple, Philip :Soul: Wynne was one of the greatest soul vocalists who ever put his voice on record, end of story, as for later perormances, sorry, they are good, but it aint the same, some sounds you can not recreate, no matter how hard you try.

Don't you think I know that!, I've been a fan of this group since God knows when :) But as it was their first visit to the UK since 1980? I didn't get much choice to see them earlier! I have most, if not all their albums, including the 1974 live album. I know how good they were, just to see the remaining members 'live' was a treat for me. Even you say they are still good.
