  • This is absolutely fucking brilliant!

  • Although they are excellent and necessary, the haters can go fuckin fly kites. Who killed sgt.pepper is an amazing record.

One night shortly after buying the album I fell asleep with it on repeat. I had the most serene yet intense sleep with wildly vivid dreams. I tried it again the next night and same thing. I alternated for almost a week between that album playing and nothing at all. Music=surreal sleep, no music= normal sleep. The results were consistent. Try it out people, So cool!

  • This is a new version of "convertible" yeah?

  • This song reminds me of the time when I lost my virginity....Except it's 3 minutes and 2 seconds longer....

  • R-Type III: The Third Lightning

  • nice to see Nonni and Anton, and hear such wonderful music

  • fuckyeahhh

  • what a magnificent song AND film...this got me high all over again :)

  • anton, looks like your packing a few extra pounds these days ;)

    Love the new album! cf

  • incredible song

  • It truely brings tears to my eyes especially this song. God was with you the whole time. sincerely, for people who are connected to God. In a way we can understand. For the people who lost hope at one time.. Timeless. SOMETHING REAL!

  • Absolutely love the music on the latest album, very cool stuff. The music of BJM reminds me a little of "Townes Van Zant" in a way that when you would listen to Townes sing, lyrically he was a genius, far ahead of what anyone else was writing at the time. Often, it was very creative and deep. BJM possesses parallel traits, but with better music. :)

  • love this one, This is the best shoegazer style of music since the 1990s.

  • i haven't a clue what anton's up to these days, but if he ever reads this - cheers for such a sweet song. my favourite of what is a fantastic new album; music that deserves to be heard by anyone with a heart.

  • AMAZING!!! Timeless, listening to this on 10, its shakes the roof off

  • The new album really is amazing, i love it so much, play it at home, in the car and walking around so its always with me, I find it very uplifting and the kinda thing I need in 2010 living in England. I would just like to say thankyou to everyone involved. I have my ticket for May the 14th so can't wait to see the gig too!

  • Listening to certain songs, bring out memories for many different reasons. It happens to me all of the time as I'm sure it does for most people, but this song is something different. It's had a completely unique effect on me. I've never before recalled such a specific memory from listening to music. It takes me back to the happiest mental state I've ever been in, which is amazing and terrifying at the same time...that it has that much power. Anton, you've really done it with this one.

  • that's what i got from convertible

  • This is exactly what I felt listening to this song, both profoundly liberating and disturbing.

  • This is and Detka! Detka! Detka! will probably not leave my head for the next week. This is really gripping stuff.

  • very cool tune and very cool vid!

bjm is one of the only bands that you can always count on to take you away from your own shit...and let you float! and that a good thing.

  • It aint shoegaze, what a mental regard. You know, I like that music but, this isnt it, its tits up dirty rock n roll, in yer face. You can use any guitar you want, yet, I like to use vox teardrops.

  • Love it. Its tapping the vein of "shoot, speed, kill light" by primal scream, only a bit sexier. I however dont like the 66 england thing going on down there, which is really stupid of me to say that. I mean i sing Celtics 67 triumphs. Its irellevant to the music, its as powerfull to people.

  • yep yep , awsome as usual.... goes very nice with my cigerette :)

  • When an artist is called a "genius" it is almost invariably any overstatement. In the case of Anton it is accurate. The recent music of BJM is almost supernatural in the way it hangs in your head. Somehow BJM has been able to create music that seems to open up dimensions beyond the three we commonly experience... and somehow without pharmaceutical assistance. A friend told me great rock n roll is either about sex or magic. BJM, as of late, is completely about magic.

  • what a fucking compliment.thank you for your thoughtfulness.i am catching a lot of grief about these recordings...you however hit the nail on the head.

    cheers,

    a

  • frickin cool

  • fucking love this song

  • support great music BUY the album.

  • Amazing stuff Anton. It's scary how consistently brilliant you are.

  • i have no words for this =O

  • convertible on speed.

now that hes on a shoegaze bender, he should rerecord pol pot too...in its entirety

  • This isn't shoegaze..

  • all the distorted guitars in the background aren't influenced by shoegaze?

  • you are a dickhead...just kidding.old habbits die hard...

    i play 1965 vox's...

so you don't know what you are talking about.

i write songs everyday...they are just ideas...

    i'm just having a good time...i can't please everyone

    so i just do what i want...its just music,just a song.

i felt like playing drums at 142 bpm and this is what i came up with.convertable relates to a mode that can change form..i did...simple.

  • hm. i love convertible and pol pot, so its not a bad thing. anyways, shoegaze music isnt classified by what guitar you use, though fender jags n shit are good ones to use.

anyways, i like the new stuff; specifically the use of russian and icelandic again.

  • dickhead was way out of order...truth is i don't look at my fucking shoes and never did.i was never good enough at playing guitar to do that...

  • eh, technicality is overrated. creativity is key. keep it up.

  • @caliphatemandate YESYESYESYSEYSES. Ive been listening to Pol Pot like crazy these last couple of weeks. And its one of BJM's best. And i dont mind the current quality, but It could be just like this here. And i would probably die from the vibes it would put out!

  • haha yes def. imagine that on vinyl! not even quality-wise but the whole experience of chillin out and playing it would be awesome.

  • YES!!!!!

  • yeeeeeeeeeeees love it

  • i love this tune

  • great redux of the original, hope this is on the new album even though it's mostly comprised of something that already lives in our hearts. is that a swastika on someones chest in the video on the right?

  • Love this song. Are you saying this is a cover or maybe an older BJM song? just curious.

  • I love it all.

  • This song is such a grower, total BLISS.
