Although they are excellent and necessary, the haters can go fuckin fly kites. Who killed sgt.pepper is an amazing record.
One night shortly after buying the album I fell asleep with it on repeat. I had the most serene yet intense sleep with wildly vivid dreams. I tried it again the next night and same thing. I alternated for almost a week between that album playing and nothing at all. Music=surreal sleep, no music= normal sleep. The results were consistent. Try it out people, So cool!
It truely brings tears to my eyes especially this song. God was with you the whole time. sincerely, for people who are connected to God. In a way we can understand. For the people who lost hope at one time.. Timeless. SOMETHING REAL!
Absolutely love the music on the latest album, very cool stuff. The music of BJM reminds me a little of "Townes Van Zant" in a way that when you would listen to Townes sing, lyrically he was a genius, far ahead of what anyone else was writing at the time. Often, it was very creative and deep. BJM possesses parallel traits, but with better music. :)
i haven't a clue what anton's up to these days, but if he ever reads this - cheers for such a sweet song. my favourite of what is a fantastic new album; music that deserves to be heard by anyone with a heart.
The new album really is amazing, i love it so much, play it at home, in the car and walking around so its always with me, I find it very uplifting and the kinda thing I need in 2010 living in England. I would just like to say thankyou to everyone involved. I have my ticket for May the 14th so can't wait to see the gig too!
Listening to certain songs, bring out memories for many different reasons. It happens to me all of the time as I'm sure it does for most people, but this song is something different. It's had a completely unique effect on me. I've never before recalled such a specific memory from listening to music. It takes me back to the happiest mental state I've ever been in, which is amazing and terrifying at the same time...that it has that much power. Anton, you've really done it with this one.
It aint shoegaze, what a mental regard. You know, I like that music but, this isnt it, its tits up dirty rock n roll, in yer face. You can use any guitar you want, yet, I like to use vox teardrops.
Love it. Its tapping the vein of "shoot, speed, kill light" by primal scream, only a bit sexier. I however dont like the 66 england thing going on down there, which is really stupid of me to say that. I mean i sing Celtics 67 triumphs. Its irellevant to the music, its as powerfull to people.
" The recent music of BJM is almost supernatural in the way it hangs in your head. Somehow BJM has been able to create music that seems to open up dimensions beyond the three we commonly experience"
When an artist is called a "genius" it is almost invariably any overstatement. In the case of Anton it is accurate. The recent music of BJM is almost supernatural in the way it hangs in your head. Somehow BJM has been able to create music that seems to open up dimensions beyond the three we commonly experience... and somehow without pharmaceutical assistance. A friend told me great rock n roll is either about sex or magic. BJM, as of late, is completely about magic.
what a fucking compliment.thank you for your thoughtfulness.i am catching a lot of grief about these recordings...you however hit the nail on the head.
hm. i love convertible and pol pot, so its not a bad thing. anyways, shoegaze music isnt classified by what guitar you use, though fender jags n shit are good ones to use.
anyways, i like the new stuff; specifically the use of russian and icelandic again.
@caliphatemandate YESYESYESYSEYSES. Ive been listening to Pol Pot like crazy these last couple of weeks. And its one of BJM's best. And i dont mind the current quality, but It could be just like this here. And i would probably die from the vibes it would put out!
great redux of the original, hope this is on the new album even though it's mostly comprised of something that already lives in our hearts. is that a swastika on someones chest in the video on the right?
Love it Jon... especially the way you added all the other vids around the center piece showing the 'behind the scenes' work that goes on... great tune anton, another great work of art Jon.
Nice job. Good one to pull out, sounds great. Im happy too coz I have the original single signed by Anton. Also the videos are getting better and better as well all the time! Its just great to hear and see all the wonderful art your putting together lately. Glad to be here on earth at this time actually. Thank you, sir
the sacred circles ... analog vs. digital ... tactile connections vs. mere 'rote' ... chanting guitars ... all, spot-on! nonni, you are brilliant, and this is an amazing collaboration with anton. yes, evidently this is our time!

so i just do what i want...its just music,just a song.
i felt like playing drums at 142 bpm and this is what i came up with.convertable relates to a mode that can change form..i did...simple.
