Great stuff man, but in the main riff, Edge is also fretting the high 'E' at the 7th (or 8th in your case) fret. It needs that note to really round off the riff. Watch the Washington vid, it's all there.

I have been using a boss ME-50 and I think its danm fine, but just when I think Im satisfied, I always want to sound better. So I just bought the Korg A3 on ebay for only like $350. not bad. cant wait to get it.

The quick little subtle chord changes are what make this guitar part. You nailed them. Great strumming/coordination w/both hands. Similar in rhythm to the distorted guitar at the end of SYCMIOYO.
