This is not right. You are not tapping right. Take for example when you have your pointer finger at fret 2 on the second string, ring finger or pinky on fret 5, and right hand tapping finger on fret 9 (all on same string of course). When you pull off of 9 you then go back to 2, hammer on to 5 with ring or pinky finger, then tap with your right hand tapping finger on to 9 and repeat this process.
What you are doing here is pulling off from 9 down to 5 down to 2 and repeating.
