This is indeed a very nice hydroponic farming setup. Hydroponics crops are really free from harmful bacteria because there is no soil and all of the gardening equipment used for it are all sterilized which why there is a limited chance that bacteria can invade the system. Had a question though. Is that rockwool that you put your seeds into? and what medium do you have in your system, are you using rocks? Could you explain your system a bit more?
@chappyk35 no medium !! just rockwool into the pvc pipe and the roots grow down thru the bottom into a stream of water and the pvc is an a slight angle so the water runs down hill and therfore waters the other plants as it flows down the pipe and into a tank of water and a pump in the tank pumps the water back to the pvc pipe and starts the process all over again !!
Great system Chuck...I'd like to see more of how you start your seeds, how often you circulate the water,do you add anything to the water,,,nuitrirents??...any to correct PH??
I want to learn about technic and can I learn from you?
