HAHA...we actually talked about that.. one of those large punching balloons with the rubber band attached? Or even a beach ball. Yeah that would create quite a stir! The potato gun is a great idea, too...I can feel the intuitive gears turning...Maybe an official HHOG II Spud Gun? HEHE

What is the material that you used inside the flasback arrestor, some sort of sand I understand, but it is not clear to me what sand you mean.

Yes...I'm going to post a build video after Thanksgiving, hopefully...I have a LOT to do before then, and I won't be able to get the build video out before that, unfortunately.
We use art sand....it's finer, and cleaner than normal sand you would dig up. If you use sand from the ground outside, you have to wash it thoroughly, and dry it. You want the grains to be free of the finer dust, or you will have a lot more flow restriction.
I'll explain it all when I do the BIY vid.

Of course, I can only get away with about 2 or 3 balloons before the neighbors might get restless. They actually sound like electrical pole transformers blowing. I usually shoot them off on holidays, especially July 4th.
On a more serious note, it makes for an incredible, yet harmless,
demonstration of the power of the gas.
