@Straightshootah lol if your controlling your enemy's joints and have full control of him,it don't matter if you get him back up,it most likely to get him back up to use a standing up only finishing move.
If you search this art's history, you'll find that it's founder Moses Powell Learned Jujutsu from Professor Florendo Visitacion who studied Small Circle Jujutsu under Professor Wally Jay (its founder) who learned Judo & Jujutsu from Dan Zan Ryu Jujutsu Founder Henry Okazaki who was the first to introduce Jujutsu to americans. if you trace most of the Arts like Vee-Jitsu, Sanuces, & lots of other Martial Arts Systems, you'll find they Spawned From Okazaki's System.
but what you are conveniently to mention is that okazaki system is based on many styles he studied in Hawaii. In addition it has been writtin down that Pro.Vee(vistacion) said that Doc(Supreme Grandmaster Moses Powell) was better than he. The only other student to be quoted as better than teacher was Bruce lee. Also Sanuces ryu is Doc's personal system from God. If i'm lieing play a dan-zan ryu flick, play a vee jujitsu flick, and neither of the 2 looks like sanucues.
Hey youre right, i played both flicks, and they don't look alike. Danzan Ryu looks more realistic, alive and practical for self-defense. Not ten thousand hand Flicks and Flippy jump kicks while the other person just stands there non-responsive
i actually studied danzan-ryu for a little while when sancues was not in that state and trust me its nothing significant about danzan ryu. Also what you fail to realize is that sanuces-ryu is a young classical art and it's really Doc's interpretation of aiki-jujitsu that's basically what sanuces is in addition to other things he studied. For example Doc also trained with Ed Parker in kenpo and so many other things we may never know.
