  • there you have an average of 40 fps?

if you take the shaders, textures and everything on entustiastic. how much does the fps drop???

  • what's your power supply ?

  • What fps you think il have i got the same card and amd phenom 955 II x4 3,2 ghz black edition and 4gb kingston ram??

  • TACOOOOSS!!!!

  • Man your C.P.U ish't enough good for this game.... Don't you think?

  • @TheNavigator96 Um - yes. Your completely correct. Benchmark videos are not all suppose to provide the best graphics ever. Being a benchmark video, it was intended to show this game's performance on this computer. Sure the CPU sucks but thats not the point. Don't have $500 to lay down to upgrade my rig to a i5 or i7. Considering if I buy a brand new CPU, I need a new mobo for the new socket types and DDR3 ram because this computer used DDR2 800.

  • @linuxrobotdude woah woah woah woah, buddy, you don't need a new mother board! Tell me your socket size, i can find a great one for under 300 bucks for you!

  • @DarkSoldier1998 I have a first generation Socket AM2 motherboard with an nForce chipset. But I think the best thing that will fit is a first gen Phenom. The only way I wanted a new mobo is parts of mine are dying.

  • i want your PC xDD

  • @INNERVOICExx36 The only reason I use 1080p on my HD monitor here is because for normal use I like the 1920x1080 picture since I have a lot of working space. Also for ME the picture looks so much more pretty and crisp at 1080p than 720p. There is a big difference between the two. 720p = 1280x720 resolution. 1080p = 1920x1080 resolution. Also if 1080p is for greater than 32" than why do they make 29" monitors with 2560x1600 resolution? Must be for more than a lot of screen space.

  • @linuxrobotdude They make make 1080p on smaller HD monitor to sell them... It's like Hd glass cleaner for windows... It's the same stuff but put HD in the mix and people will buy it. There really is no jump in size with 1080 vs 720p. Yes 1080p looks better but 1080p was made for big TV. I remember some time ago when school kids tested 1080p and 720p. The they took the same TV and one was set on 1080p and the other 720p. No one could tell what was 720 or 1080. This was done on a 32" TV.

  • For all of you who review or for info here it is. If you have a HD TV that is 32' or bigger run games at 1080p. If you have a smaller Monitor, go with 720p. 1080p is really for 32' and up. Also if you run at 720p or 1080p, you do not need to use AA. I have a Samsung 42' LCD and I run at 1080p. i also need to let you know that I run a Nvidia 9500gt. LOL. But when I play Crysis on 1080p, I do not need AA

  • using the card with such a components its useless.

  • @pandjabimc Hey look - I only had $200 to spend. Since the CPU is really not crappy for other games - this system get between (on max settings @ 1080p) 70-120 FPS on Call of Duty 4, 50-60 FPS on WoW, 40-60 FPS on Bioshock 2, and over 100-200 FPS Battlefield 2142, the human eye can't detect over 28 FPS and most monitors don't exceed a 65 Hz refresh rate, I wouldn't say I have a horrible CPU. Also on the games I have been working on With Ogre3D under Linux, I get 400+ FPS.

  • @linuxrobotdude If that is true why do you see a difference between 30 and 60 fps? And why do you need a tv with 300 hz + the exact amount of fps the human eye can detec is still unknown

  • @thepunishment The reason is that because they way games are designed some of them will look crisper at a higher resolution. Not that it will look laggy, but more crisp and defined. the 300+Hz is for the 3D tech. Since most 3d technologies have active or polarized glasses they show the image for one eye and then for the other eye. That effectively halfs the speed of the screen.

  • @thepunishment Also on another note I really should have said MOST people. I can tell the difference between 30 and 40 but I can't tell the difference between 40 and 50 and so on.

  • @linuxrobotdude You cannot catagorize the human eye as such, The eye detects things at different rates. One colour will be detected at a different rate from another. Also what is happening to the light affects how fast the eye records it, for example strobe lighting is recorded differently than to a solid light.

In short, it is not true the eye see's only 28-30FPS as it vary's from situation to situation, I can try and find a source of this information if you wish

  • @roadkill1001 Yeah, please do. I'm just going off what my AP biology teacher had said. I really don't know and considering the human eye doesn't work on FPS. I personally can't tell the difference between 30 and 40 fps playing the games I do.

  • @linuxrobotdude /wwwDOT100fpsDOTcom/how_many_frames_can_humans_see.htm

  • @roadkill1001 Cool. But, my earlier statement still stands. This monitor along with most others refreshes at 60 Hz. This means the physical screen redraws ever 1/60th of a second. It doesn't matter whether I run it at 60 fps or 1000 fps - the monitor can't actually DRAW that many frames per second.

  • o athlon 64 x2 2.1ghz da gargalo na sua vga... no minimo um core2duo 2.8ghz.

  • yeah, your cpu is no doubt bottlenecking your 5770 a ton

  • Yep, I got the latest drivers of ATI's site and also they provided the linux drivers to and the linux driver comes with Catalyst Control Center as well now.

  • why are you getting such crap frams try overclocking the xpu to 3 ghz that will speed it up HEAPS i mean about 20 frams more

  • I could, but I'm only using stock cooling right now. (update) never mind, I tried to push it another 100 MHz and it crashed.

  • What the hell's an XPU?

    Nah, J/k, you are right.

  • oooohh yeh oopps lol

  • Yo whered my comment go i have bewn deleted? only some constructive help all u would need to buy is 100 buck processer (q660) and 100 buck motherboard (p5q) and u will have a beast of a computer

  • I didn't delete any comments whatsoever.
