They had head chopping contest in which they competed to see who could chop off the most heads of chinese civilian men from children to old men. They also gang raped and muredered almost all of the women in the city. I'm not Chinese, but let me give you a little perspective. For example, in Germany, it's illegal to publically display Nazi paraphernalia, and Hitler's Mein Kampf still banned. German government has also made numerous public apologies to the victims of Nazi war crimes. Has Japan been anywhere near forthcoming or apologetic about its own war crimes, likes Germany? No. That's the main reason why many Chinese, Koreans, etc, still are angry about Japanese war crimes around WWII.
