As a Rangers fan, I'll happily admit Henrik Larsson is the single greatest player to grace the Scottish league - even better than Laudrup. As for the 'shit league' thing... back when Larsson played, the league was no worse than the Portuguese or Dutch league, if you ask me. This guy was amazing. He won the champions league (with the two goalgivingpasses in the final), the golden shoe for best striker in europe, and a bronzemedal in the world cup. Not much more to ask for, for a player from Sweden.

Boyd is nothing, Henrik could run circles around the defense, toy with them before putting it away, brilliant world class touches, flicks...boyd could never do any of that, only knock it in after a goal mouth scramble. As a Rangers fan, I'll happily admit Henrik Larsson is the single greatest player to grace the Scottish league - even better than Laudrup. As for the 'shit league' thing... back when Larsson played, the league was no worse than the Portuguese or Dutch league, if you ask me. Also, I seem to remember Celtic dumping Liverpool, Celta Vigo and Stuttgart en route to the UEFA Cup final in 2003 - not bad for a shit team from a shit league.

pingpongmasta and cadaharla i agree with all you have to say, how champione09 cant see that larsson was world class is beyond me. you have to accept class when you see it. i also thought laudrup was world class, but am not as bitter as that asspiece. our league was proud to have such class willing to play at dundee on a november night in the league cup
