I was always uncomfortable with the line "Oh my son, I am only your brother, and for a sister God gave me your mother". It's just a weird thought. But, I think, you know, what's unbiblical about it? It is true. He's thinking beyond this life, which a lot of Christians don't do. Beyond this life, all the relationships we think of as eternal will be different in eternity- they're temporary- including marriage. There's a lot of romanticism in Christianity about marriage but it's NOT eternal.

It is true. He's thinking beyond this life, which a lot of Christians don't do. Beyond this life, all the relationships we think of as eternal will be different in eternity- they're temporary- including marriage. There's a lot of romanticism in Christianity about marriage but it's NOT eternal.
