If you weren't at the parade near this spot then you have no idea what was going on here. This man was our side's hero. The other side clearly lacked what it took to be the champions of the sidewalk. "Other side sucks! Other side sucks!" Hahahaaaaa best day ev-----er. No one else would have had the skills and/or balls to climb up the already-greased up lampost!! This guy is the man, period.

I was about 30-40 ft back from there. We were having a "climbing the pole and standing up fight" between the two sidewalks. The other side just got on it but didnt stand up. This guy got on, stood up, then fell off. But everyone cheered like we just won the World Series again. It was awesome.
