  • the fact that you're so disconnected from the background with no effect on it from your movement makes it look almost chroma keyed in.

    weird.

  • Thank you for the helpful review and the BTS of your set. If you're worried about spill from the softbox, you should invest in (or create) a grid. It will really knock down the spill (and the overall output as well). Makes it easier to dial in your background lights. The shag carpet really helped keep the audio clean. Cheers!

  • Can you use the SmallHD DP6 for the Canon t3?

  • Which AC to DC adapter are you using for the 312 LED? I bought the 312 LED recently but did not come with an AC to DC adapter, so I still have to buy one. Thanks.

  • The Manhattan HD5 seems to have more reflection on the screen? Is that true?

  • how can i make my t3i make good videos??

  • @conebit3 How old are you?

  • @MrMagicCreeper why?

  • @conebit3 Because that's an extremely stupid/non-detailed question.

  • @MrMagicCreeper i guess you get off by doing this kind of comments on youtube ... w/e dude. Keep playing your video games

  • @conebit3 lol jesus christ conebit grow up

  • great work! the videos are so helpful with our videos

  • Okay, let me put you on the spot. I'm looking seriously at the Ikan VX7. Was there something this didn't have that put you off or is there other models that you looked at and just didn't like? I know (I think) what's positive--but what didn't you like on the other models?

  • Hi Tony which of the 2 models would you recommend for the Canon XH A1 camcorder. The SmallHD without the SDI input or the ManhattanHD monitor. Do you still have your XH A1 or have you resold it after you started shooting on DSLR. I like my XH A1, but would like a better monitoring solution for the exact purposes stated in the reviewing of the to monitors.

  • @mejlgaardbliddal Either monitor will work with the XHA1. Don't have mine anymore since I now have a 5D MkII, 60D and XA10. I used to have an 11" ManhattanLCD with my XHA1 but these new 5.6" HD screens are even better than the old 11" model.

  • I thought the set was digital before viewing this as there was no depth to it all....I still feel those wood pillars feel out of place though.

  • can't wait for beachtek review. keep up the great videos!

  • Tony. I like your style. Thanks again for another great video. I will be in the market for one of those monitors soon I think. I also liked the BTS on your set design. My only criticism is that you change the angle of the camera to not include the floor. The carpet detracts from the nice look of the set.

  • will the small hd monitor take Panasonic gh2 batteries

  • I like the set design. That is a creative way to give a higher end industrial type look. Good job!

  • Nice set and Set Up. Good presentation.

  • You really need to work on your energy bud. You're sleepable.

  • I think I much rather have the Small HD, even with the higher price point.

  • Tony, that looks great! The underlayment looks like oak! Nice separation with the lighting. I'll be checking out the training series! Yes, the carpet, but I didn't notice it.

  • @Sprenklefish Thanks. Yeah, the carpeting is a bit of a pain, but replacing that would have cost a lot more than I had budgeted. Instead, I tried to have my tones match with it.

  • Nasty carpet ...

  • will they work with the canon HV30 camcorder?
