I just got done taking mine apart to figure out issue with clip not staying in. Found little plastic tab broke (stupid weak design) off clip release where it engages spring. Drilled out the post where the tab was, installed a small piece of bent metal and glued in with JB Weld to hold.
Clip works good as new. Used some Youtube videos on reassembly to figure out some reassembly info.
Good luck...this is a repairable issue with the clip. Just requires taking gun apart and some thought.
very upset...Had the gun for 1 Year....Test fired it without CO2 In the Pistol... shot it and the clip was stuck...i tried to release it and then the release button got very loose and fell farther into the gun...I finally got the Clip out By Grabbing the little hole in the bottom with my knife it Fell out and I shook it a little black peice (DIRECTLY SAME SIZE AS Your plastic peice) fell out Very upset because Usally crosmans guns are great quality...
this happened to mine and i would have just superglued the piece back on but when i opened my gun it wasnt there, just take your gun apart and glue the piece back on the mag release
I had the same exact thing happen to me. That piece of plastic locks the slide into place inside the mag chamber. If you look at the side of the mag there are notches that it will fit into. I took my gun apart and glued the piece back onto the mag release assembly. Waiting for the glue to dry now to see if it will work. I don't have high hopes.
well you get a peice of plastic and you hot glue it to the botttom of the handel ( the thing that is removible that covers up the c02 compartment) and then you have to crack open the handel to put the clip in and then when you put the handel back on it holds the clip in. it is kinda hard to explain but i hope you get the idea!
the gun isn't garbage you just have to hold the clip in! the sme thing happened to mine, i created a very simple clip holding in gaget that works just fine.
