  • OMG

  • haha lol

  • Get ready to have the full might of Disney up your butt...I'm sure if they can sue a couple in Nort Carolina for making costumes similar to their characters, your not far behind...haha...Great vid, nice lighting ane atmospherics! Keep up the good work!

  • With "WALL-E", "spoof", and "parody" in my tags, I think I'm safe. :P

  • How do you do 3D Animation?

    What Software did you use?

    It was very good!!! :-))

  • This was done with 3D Studio Max (4.0, which is long a dinosaur). Don't worry about WALD-O. He can be rebuilt. *lol*

  • is he okay?

  • Don't worry. The magic cube will make him all better. ;P

  • @Bobzeaux haha they want to know if he's alright... how sweet...

  • Animation is great. GREAT JOB! *thumbs up* Maybe with that editing skill you could do a Spore-typed version of Wall-E.

  • Spore typed?

  • Spore. A game. RAWR.

  • oh right... on rendering, lol well i mean u kinda know what i ment

  • Oh no no no no no no no NO. If you're tight on cash, become acquainted with Blender. Kind of a weird interface (imo), but the results are undeniable.

  • I'm laughing dude...you are too talented!

  • Thanks. :)

  • this is what i call freakin talent, this looks like pixar worthy material!

i bet if you showed this to them, they'd be very impressed, maybe if you rendered it a bit, lol

  • "maybe if you rendered it a bit, lol"

This is 100% rendered. If I knew how to properly cover WALD-O here in scuffs, scratches, and rust blemishes like WALL-E (all matters of texture mapping, not rendering), then I'd be in business. :P

  • 3D Studio Max. Used to be the leading software until Maya came along. :P

  • I never understood why it was 16 tons instead of a rounder number like 20, but whatever. Can't argue with a classic. *lol*

  • HA nice

  • funny Bob! you really can work with this cgi stuff. but what programme did you use and how long does it take to make?

''the blocky look is so lame'' ha what does bay know? Wally is the ultimate blocky robot and i hear no one complain ''it looks unrealistic''

  • This was done using 3D Studio Max (4.0, which is a dinosaur today), and this animation was fairly quick to do since WALD-O is a series of simple shapes with very simple rigging involved. I'd say the animation itself took me.... ten hours total?

And you never hear people complain about how simple WALL-E's transformation sequence is, do you? *lol*
