Don't put tape on your furniture!!! Instead, USE ROLLS OF STRETCH WRAP! It's great stuff for a move. It sticks to itself, not the item, so just wrap it all the way around once or more. Use it to keep drawers in place, keep furniture pieces (like table legs or removed shelves) together so they don't roll around and rub on each other, etc. Each roll will cost around $7.

I prefer moving naked, just make sure you get naked AFTER the movers have filled up the truck, then depending on how frightening your naked body is, it'll be easy to take the truck over yourself for no fee at all.
