I watched it once, and I was still confused. Then I took a deep breath and tried again. Oh my god, it is so simple!!!!!!! THANKS for the left handed instructions they are much appreciated
Thanks so much for doing this. I actually figured this out by trial and error before finding your video,, but this confirms that I'm doing it right! Do you have (or know of) a video on how to increase and decrease in left-handed brioche stitch?
@insheepclothing , I haven't done a search on that, but the project I was doing (as I recall) didn't have increases or decreases. It makes sense that you would have to decrease 3 stitches or increase 3 stitches to keep it even, doesn't it? You'd have to knit 3 together to get rid of one of the patterns or probably do an increase in both the knit stitch, yarn over and the next knit stitch to increase. Does that help you envision it?
video is a bit dark to follow & not easy to follow. I get the point though, especially as a "true" left handed knitter<knitting from R to L. This looks like a nice pattern though- may try a scarf to check out the design of the pattern of a brioche-thanks
do you know of any books on brioche for lefties? i'm still a little in the dark here cos (like jenas17) i'm not certain how to begin. i'm sure that once i figure that out though, this video will be quite helpful lol since your other vids are:)
Sorry, I don't have the instruction around, but the setup row (as I recall) didn't knit 2 tog, but I could be wrong. Try searching for patterns? I just posted this to demonstrate how the "slip" stitch and "yarn over" were executed SIMULTANEOUSLY to produce this stitch. It is not 2 separate moves as in most patterns.
