  • @Kaffeization McVicar, Roger plays the lead role.

  • @YCSMusic

Yes it's called 'McVicar' and The Who plays as guests musicians on most of the songs. The soundtrack sounds as good as The Who's two last albums (Face Dances and It's Hard).

  • @Kaffeization have you seen the movie mcvicar yet mate?

  • @Kaffeization McVicar is name of film.

  • @Kaffeization It is OK. I saw it opening night and there were about 12 people in the theater. LOL If you love Roger there is plenty of skin. lol. It is a true story but not a great movie. Now Liztomania... pure art! jk jk. lol

  • @YCSMusic there you can make a case about the great British movies made with a fraction of the budget of Hollywood. and still been great.

  • @YCSMusic there you can make a case about the great British movies made with a fraction of the budget of Hollywood. and still been great. No offense Hollywood.

  • @MrTigerdaddy You're right there, I prefer old movies without mind-blowing special effects where the emphasis is on good storylines and class acting.

  • @YCSMusic Going back to The Who and Roger D., do you know the trough behind another song of theirs: Behind the blue eyes? there seems to be two different opinions about it. One that it s about the guilt felt by the Germans after the end of the WWII, the other pointing to a more personal , social conflict. Not that it really matters. In both cases its a great one. just curious.

  • @MrTigerdaddy God this film was great! I can't get enough of it! I watch it all the time!

  • @tonya6999 Oldy but goldy as they say. Enjoy.

  • Never get out, never get out, never get out

  • fucking hell this is a classic along with the film McVikar

  • was locked up in a boys reform for a year as a 15 year old in 1981 and this played over and over in my head. Then when I got out it was" I'm free" stuck in my head. I owe my reform to the who, lol

  • This song should've been way more popular than it was...it features some of Daltrey's most virtuosic singing, and many steps above his other work in the 80's like "After The Fire" and others...Definately going in my favorites...

  • One of the best songs ever

  • I wonder is Pete got pissed off for Roger doing a total style parody of Quadrophenia. hehe
