This and "Why We're Dead" have two of my favorite opening riffs of all time. Sad to see them go, but they had an awesome send off with their last EP. HUGS!!!!

And I saw Paul McCartney (go look him up too) in 2003 live - he filled an ENTIRE stadium (a 60 year old man - yes a senior!!!) - he can still do that 40 YEARS later - why??? because he IS a real talent - people with discerning (go look that word up too) taste still want to see him and he doesn't have to scream at people!! P.S. two tickets were $600 (OMG! yeah to see a senior sing) and worth every penny 8)

you are funny- i dont divide music by decades- if anything i enjoy everything from classical to baroque to avant-garde metal. and there was a better selection back then? The Mars Volta beats all the bands you just listed...lol TMV improvise jazz like material with extremely odd time signatures- which one of the bands you listed did/does that? grama, please! lol

Back to the point, orchestral music and Death Metal can have very similar characteristics. Listen to Winds of Plague, they're symphonic deathcore, which means they're death metal with an orchestra playing along. Oh, and it's called having a wide variety of musical tastes. Learn your shit, rock expert.

OK - you are right - not every band from the 70s was great but there was more of a selection and at least we could decifer the words. And my 14 year old son listened to this clip and laughed FYI. And musicians from "back then" could fly first class, buy million dollar homes, and travel the world, eat in the best restaurants, off the money they made from their music: the Stones, the Beatles, Led Zepplin, Van Halen. And as for the veiled message??? I can't make out the words!!! Decent??? haha

so you think this is a bad music? 70s dont hold the monopoly for a good music. in fact TONS of bands are overrated from that time period. the only reason they are called good is that they just happened to be POPular including Led Zeppelin for instance. most of them are incredibly simplistic from musical point of view.

excuse me m`m, this ISNT my band to start with- i didnt name it. nor did i name the song title. but i do think it was a bit over the top. however there might be some veiled message in all this- again i am not sure. musically it isnt the best piece, but it is decent. that`s all i care about. now i could go on and tear your favorite bands apart that are from 70s, but i dont see the need for it.

I'm just sayin they're entitled to whatever name they want and like if someone was to make a band named "Kaihley" or something they do have the right.
