  • Oh please little bitches, do you have to compare every fucking sport to MMA? Are you this retarded and shallowminded? Please grow up idiots. Taekwondo is a sport and a hard one to, those so called 'pussy's' are in much better shape than most of you. But noooo, we have to compare this to that MMA, cause MMA is the best sport ever. And if you think that MMA is the greatest sport on earth think again. They don't get paid that much as you think compared to the beating they get. Thats just silly

  • This is so pathetic and laughable.

  • both are good

  • i teach and train in ITF tae kwon do and have never been much of a fan of WTF but this is starting to look a lot more entertaining!! great work in rule changes to keep things flowing!!

  • good fight, i agree with the comment of CEE2027

  • That just looks like school kids trying to be karate masters. Tippy tappy. Scrappy titty fighting.

  • hitmonlee used flying kick......its super effective!

  • how much padding for some bare footed kicking LMFAO get a real combat sport

  • @chrisjohnson1990 They'd both put you to sleep with one punch, kid.

  • I don't understand why they made this martial art a sport. This should only be for self defence. If these guys want to make it big in the fighting world of sports they should try mma or boxing that's where the money is!

  • @boxingfan786 --They have real jobs during the day, not everyone does something for money; are you getting paid to watch Youtube? Do people get paid to watch TV? To jog, to exercise at the gym, many think boxing and MMA are gay anyway.

  • Nice point scoring, now try fighting an MMA fighter and see how effective those little taps are.

  • @GetInThaKitchen No need to be rude, something you would learn if you understood martial arts as opposed to MMA.

  • @GetInThaKitchen Actually I do TKD and that was lame. More advertising in the ring then fighting. I take back my previous comment. Adieu.

  • @GetInThaKitchen You have no idea how powerful these "little taps" are.

  • Don't say who wins in the description !

  • Gay

  • Freaking AWESOME!

  • I think it was great to watch. If you understand sport TKD. It's great fun to watch.

  • Great match. Much better and much more interesting than the long periods of bouncing without kicks we saw at Athens and Beijing. Here's to London 2012!

  • i like chewingum, thumbs up if u like it to! :D and taekwondo of course!

  • Great sportsmanship from the red fighter

  • In a real fight, the blue would have painted the Red all over the town !

  • :D

  • the blue was a better fighter. this scoring system is crap!

  • @Farizor being a better fighter and scoring more points are two different things...this is why i stopped tkd...

  • @zedsj i get what your saying, but i love mma AND wtf sparring. 2 favourite sports. doesnty take too much effort to keep your sparring tactics to sparring and your mma tactics to well.. mma

  • @zedsj I agree with you but there are two types of training; traditional martial arts training and tournament/sport oriented training. As a martial artist AND a competitor it is important to understand the difference between the two types of training and adjust accordingly when preparing for a competition etc. Leaving a martial art because of the scoring system is not really a good reason. In doing so, you would have completely missed the point of the martial art.

  • @zico1024 i used to agree with you....but after 15 years of training, 10 years of it in tkd, the problem i realise is that such competitive sports encourage unrealistic training habits that your body absorbs but is not good for you (the instability shown in this fight for example is a huge issue i have with tkd)...anyway i dont have all the answers but you sound passionate, share your thoughts at my blog: walkingbamboo. wordpress. com

  • @zedsj exactly, and when those training habits get embedded into your muscle memory...that can never be a good thing. I try to stay away from competition because of this. mind you i'm more of a shotokan guy than anything else; been doing than since I was 7 or 8. I recently started wing chun too btw. I like the feel of it; its a bit more dynamic than other styles although the forms are a bit too long for my liking. Sui lim tao was a bitch to learn for me as im used to moving in stances.

  • @zico1024 Nice, hope your journey goes well. I loved shotokan as a kid, tkd was my plan b after i couldn't find a good place. Last year I trained with a karate guy in wc, he loved it too but was hard to get him out of the 'tecnique' mindset and into the 'concept' mindset. Re the forms, c'mon there's only 3 forms ;) I recommend you read the very detailed description of the slt form at my sifu's website wcats .com. I've been through 4 wc teachers, his stuff is by far the most mindblowing

  • @zedsj you as well, friend and thanks for the link to your sifu's site. very in-depth and informative stuff man so i'm adding it to my resources. your blog looks really thought provoking, i'll definitely stop by from time to time.

  • @zico1024 thx for the kind words, stay in touch and keep up the training!

  • @Farizor no pal you are wrong, the red fighter is one of the best players in the world and I believe that he will get defenetly a medal in 2012. The scoring system is also the best you can get until this point, the old system was a disgrace because of the judges, this is what all TKD fighters believe.
