I adopted my dog "Cleo" from the S.P.C.A. of York Pa. She is a Greman Shorthaired Pointer (and YES she is a pedigreed dog). She was rescued from a puppy mill after being kept in a cage and bred for 9 years. She had multiple health problems, was not socialized or house broken. She has been with me about a year now and is one of the BEST companions I've ever had......Please adopt one of these wonderful animals. No one deserves the type of life "Cleo" had in the past

I hate the rule for some shellters or animal place that they have to kill them... at my humane society they dont kill the animals they put them in a foster home and the have another building for the animals that need a cage so ya they never kill them. =) BUT U ROCK ASPCA

You don't HAVE to adopt a pet from the ASPCA. It's not running the cheapest outlet or a purebred pet business. It's running a RESCUE organization. The money goes to help more animals and the info is designed to try to insure that the new owner isn't the same type of monster that caused the enimal to need medical help and adoption. Pet shop animals are cheaper, cuter and have a great shot at finding good homes. The abused ASPCA animals just need someone to NOT hurt them.....for a few bucks more.

actually they have a show of animal cops in miami, texas houston and in arizona, phoenix about the cops saving animals and stuff and then they take them to ASPCA and they show what all the vets do to help the animals. Its a RESCUEING ORGINIZATION!! your the one full of shit! you dont have to pay for the animals like they're objects, ASPCA is not like petco or petsmart!
