@sodurlu88 matter of opinion. Because of the Focus' rallying heritage, I think Ford took some inspiration from the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X's large, aggressive front grille. From behind though, I think it looks something like the VW Scirocco.

To me the design of the car is really good, its not gay, and I do agree tho with you that if alot of us worked for them designing car concepts they would look pretty uniqe, however I bet just like you I have played to much need for speed and look at cars that could be much better. I think ford should do a car kind of like an Audi or of some sort, or even Mitsubishi, but making there own not copying, just getting general idea.

I think the best thing about the new focus is unlike the fiesta it actually looks kinda like the WRC rally car. The fiesta is a night and day difference if you sat Ken Blocks rally car beside a stock one.

focus rs is dead , next RS will be the fiesta , awd isnt neccersary anywhere else than america where 0-60 and quater mile times seem to mean more than handling , the current RS was tested with both a 4wd system and the fwd with revonuckle at the ring and the fwd version was actually faster , and saved about 3k from the list price .

Ford has been pretty clear that they won't make this awd because the additional weight would upset the balance they have created. But with ford's torque distribution technology in the fwd, they say there's no torque steer.

Personally, I also would prefer awd. That's why I'm driving a 2011 wrx.

@untitled795 Pricing hasn't been anounced for the ST model in the US yet, but I suspect there's some flexibility there. Worst case, the Focus ST AWD would end up costing just under the Subaru STI base package (if they don't touch the engine). The real problem is development. None of these ST Focuses have been AWD. So they'd have to develop a new system and that would take at least a year or two, unless they can adapt an existing system from another car or from another brand that Ford owns.

@kevie88 You are right ! But it's Ford USA ! The purpose of a "small" hatch like the ST is not to wear 2 tones and have a V6. In terms of buiseness, the car you are dreaming about is not feasible in Europe: costs, regulations (Euro4, 5, 6). Ford wants to bring the maximum sport package for the less money ... In comparison of other car makers, Ford would be too expensive if they would bring a sporty AWD car.

Of allt he cars I have owned 6 in all , 5 have been Fords and NOT one problem with them so long as you maintain them properly. I own a 2002 Focus, and that is one fun little car. This one looks Great as well, Reminds me of a MAZDA 3 (HMMMM)
