  • Yay, Edie McClurg

  • "Out of the mouths of babes..."

"Yes, let's talk about the dots."

    Hahaha classic :-)

  • Whose Frank Zappa?

  • Frank Zappa if he were alive today he would be the person I'd like to talk to about why the people that our on ssi, ssd, ssa, have not gotten a cost of living raise since 2009. He's the type of person that could get it for us!

  • This asshole looks like he just wants to get back to the bottle.

  • @creatorofk He was extremely anti drug and alcohol and he's an incredibly smart man

You on the other hand are an incredibly ignorant dip shit

  • Tis true. Good form. Ta

  • @creatorofk Must be talking about Arsenio. ;)

  • @funkster007 Nope. Talkin bout your pedophilic hero! = D

  • I would've loved to hear his comments on George w bush

  • @kdj997 ya can't, cause he croaked it

  • if I could bring one musician back from the dead, it would be you Frank.

  • I love how the audience cheered after he said 'I already used Suzy for something else', like he was making a cheeky sexual reference. His expression says 'What the hell are these idiots cheering about? I was talking about Suzy Cream Cheese...'

  • "lets not be too rough on our own ignorance...thats what makes makes America great!"

    Best qoute of the clip!

  • Frank.... straight talker.

  • I heard Arsenio's head is as big as an apple..... From Bulworth

  • SEE THIS BAG !!!!! :)

  • @itsstillfriday i saw that bag!

  • Frank is the man!

  • fucking regan.

  • Frank Zappa & Arsenio Hall, Two of our Great American

    Entertainers & Crusaders.

  • Arsenio wasn't pleased with the whole michael jackson thing

  • The begining of the End begins the day were born.

  • Frank really seems to get along well with Arsenio, and Arsenio's audience... usually he looks a little reluctant to be on these types of shows, here he seems to be in good spirits and having a good time.

  • @daycri

.That's probably because black people who know of Zappa, had respect for his no-bullshit attitude and his bravery on speaking out against America's excess. We also respect that he always hired black musicians in his band and had a healthy respect for jazz and black r n b....

Arsenio didnt like the imitation black child voice Zappa did..but the audience loved it. But only Zappa would go on a black show and do that.

  • @adamlewis7609 I think he was :(

  • I've always wanted to do that thing with a yo-yo

  • 22 ppl didnt like to see the bag! lol

  • SEE THIS BAG?

  • i would have loved if zappa had ran against bush sr.

  • @TheSuperHeretic Sure, but then he would have died a year into his term.

  • @kledermans ah, but if he was president then they would have used the cure for cancer that the government has already had for years. (just kidding)

  • "Yeah... yeah... yeah... umm". Nice replies to Zappa's thoughts, Arse-enio!!!

  • From about 3:28 through 3:46...my how history repeats itself.

  • ah, the hogan family!

  • 6:30 wow backwars !........and look at arsenio!! LOL

  • Haha when Frank tells the "he ugly , he white lookin' " part Arsenio is just like "yes, ok they ugly , then what? " That makes me laugh

  • 03:28 WOW

  • heavy smoking not good

  • frank zappa just explained on this video why the american public need to be more disicive when choosing there goverment officials.

  • I miss Frank Zappa and old school Arsenio. He had some pretty cool guests.

  • I think that what happened was. When election day finally arrived a lot of people maybe didn't Obama that much, had really decided that they didn't like McCain at all and said, "ok I gotta vote for somebody, give it to guy who is farthest from Bush"

  • Sounds like the last presidential election to me. I wonder what Zappa would have thought about the Tea party.

  • 4:11

  • Comment removed

  • see this fag?

  • @EurakiTheGreat Huh?

  • Franks skin is so yellow that he could come an do a guest appear in the simpsons:)

  • Arsenio was such a terrible host... he has such an intelligent & articulate guest and all his follow up answers are "yeah... ..yeah..."

  • Zappa is surly one of the only ORIGINAL THINKERS on the planet.

to take his ignorance idea one step further. Ignorance may well be Americas last survival instinct. case in point BP oil ? . . . good to the last drop.

  • i use suzy for something else... ^^ suzy creamcheese anyone?

  • Boy, if FZ was only around to really see how america has worsened!

  • Mike Dukakis, yeah, right. Free souvlaki for everyone!

  • Great stuff!

  • Frank left us much much too soon.... true genius. Miss U Frank.

  • See this bag?!

  • i'm sure arsenio's brain felt more at ease with interviewing the hogan family bitch.

  • @fusionconfusion: the song is called "Why Don't You Like Me?"

  • starting around the 7 minute mark, could someone enlighten me as to which song of his they're talking about? (its the song about Michael Jackson) Please forgive me oldschool Zappa fans, I've recently been enlightened!

  • @leardrum1

Thomas Paine was a Norfolk Liberal, is that better?

  • It's not that usual to see Frank laugh!

  • 4:11

    LOL WUT

  • aesenio is speaking like a stoned goofball haha

  • See this bag?

  • If this were an actual show, and these were the stars, I would call it "Insincere Cheeseball and Genius."

  • YES I SEE THE FUCKING BAG!!!!!!!

  • zappa was always good at dealing with idiots... the man never lost his temper... you don't argue with FZ... he kept his cool, while YOU ended up looking stupid... i only wish i could be more like him... i'm practicing... it's always good to emulate a genius... better to be like FZ than tupac, no???

  • I really wish he'd put that show on.

  • linda entrevista.... nice interview.

but... always bothering him with the names of the kids!! boring!.... its not that weird!!

  • he ugly he all white lookin

  • @wackcrack thing fishy....

  • I think Frank was WAY too intellectual to be on Arsenio. It looked like a few times Arsenio had no idea what to say. Asking a genius like Zappa why he gave his kids the names he did? WTF. He should have stuck with his mindless drivel and fluff that his barking, howling ignorant audience ate up.

  • lol..what a dumb audience, laughing at things that arent supposed to be funny.

  • Who the fuck was that mullet motherfucker?

  • I love when stupid people interviewed Frank. "Its our ignorance.." Well said Arsenio.

  • see this bag!

  • Watcing Turnip head Arsineo in action (inaction?), you can see why his show didnt last. What a horrible host.

  • arsenio aint too cool

  • I love his expression at 1:50

  • Brilliant !!! Amazing !!! Frankie boy was complaining about the last 4 yrs of the government .... you've missed the last 20 of real disaster ... R.I.P. Frankie ...

  • Funny how Democrats keep making mistakes to give elections to Republicans.

  • It's funny how republicans kept fucking up...

  • What I meant was they're both really the same group, as Zappa himelf often contended. Learn how to read subtext.

  • Dems keep setting records for f ing it up faster. The new leader has already set a faster record in 1/4 of the time than his predecessor Czarter before him. By the time "impeach Bush" is out of the Dems mouths, impeachment will have been completed for the new leader.

Zappa says it all: "how can any one party make that many mistakes.?" One thing you can always say about the Zap: hes astute.

  • "Ignorance is what makes America great"- truer words were never spoken by a brilliant american. Sleep well, Frank.

  • Arsenio got booted off of TV shortly after the LA riots and he make racist remarks against white people " black people don't beat white people even though you want to show them how it feels" That was one of Arsenio's comments on TV I saw during the riots. He is a racist jackass.

  • zappa is the man

  • @4:13... See this bag?

  • yes, yes i do.

  • i DID see that bag!

  • Wow. Arsenio was a terrible, energy-killing host.

  • He's the one who brought up Michael Jackson at a time when some of the wierdness was happening. What did he expect, he is asking FZ and it was funny. Arsenio acted like and did shoot himself in the foot!

  • wow...........he really is

  • Frank Zappa will always be the man! I miss that guy....

  • wow this is prolly the most relaxed and chipper zappa interview i've ever seen, even with his sickness. he seems to really like arsenio, which surprises me though i don't know why.

  • could it be that arsenio is black and hes white :)

  • Edie Mclurg of the Hogan family.

  • zappa is the fucking cooolest.

  • You can see Frank's illness in his eyes and his posture. Sad, very sad. i miss the guy.

  • @photo2010

He was not sick here. Frank always had dark circles under his eyes. He was diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer in 1990 and died in 1993, this is 4 years earlier.

  • @gmcjetpilot Yeah, looking at several older interviews, you can see that's often how he just looked and talked.

  • @gmcjetpilot If he was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 1990, he probably had it at this time (1989) and didn't know it. In an interview, Frank talked about how angry he was when they told him he had cancer because he had been to doctors about urinary problems he'd had for years and they missed it until it was too late to do anything about it.

  • Comment removed

  • 6:32 he ugly, he white lookin' hah

  • See This bag??

  • "If we weren't incomparably ignorant, how could we have tolerated the last 8 years?" Referring to the Reagan administration.

So, 8 years of Bush Jr. must mean we're still ignorant.

Wake up and do something to make change!

  • This is so cool. I remember when Frank's kids were on Arsenio campaigning for him in '88.

  • 3:36... lol

  • He died o Prostate Cancer...sad.

  • i already used Susie for something else.

  • 1989- the year nirvana gave out their album "Bleach".

  • Nice Wiki-skillz!

  • HE UGLY!! HE WHITE LOOKING!

  • 4:03 LOOK AT THAT DUDE HAIR! HAHAHAHA!

  • Wow, that's the same thing that happened to Bush and Kerry, what Zappa said at 5:30 and so on. People didn't like Bush, but when all the shit that was happening then, people thought Kerry would be too much of a wuss to handle it, so they gave it to George Jr. We didn't regret that at all, did we, America? *Rolls Eyes*.

  • i highly disagree.Zappa was have seen thru Obama just like one looks thru a clean window. He would have seen him for the corrupt-puppet leader that he is.

  • right on dude.

  • abosolute agree with you. Cheers !

  • I think I have a new found respect for Arsenio - but he's still a suck up.

  • see this bag!

    hah

  • This is pretty surreal...I now have a little more respect for Arsenio.

  • arsenio wasn't fit to lick to the sweat off zappa's balls, only fit to suck eddie murphy's cock - this show was beneath frank.

  • Damn, I miss FZ!!

  • Is that Chick Corea with a mullet at 4:07?

  • Zappa. What can I say?

  • Zappa is all you need to say

  • when Frank quips how he already used Suzie for something else,Arsenio laughs when you know good and well he knows not in the slightest wtf Frank is talking about..seems like Frank was courtous yet caught the moment and paused a bit just so those in the know could absorb this moment of phoniness...classic

  • What's got into you?

  • just an observation. most people would've done the same thing (as Arsenio did)...I just found the moment amusing. What's gotten into you?

  • dude I was making a reference to the freak out album and miss suzy creamcheese

  • What's gotten into you?! ;)

  • SEE THIS BAG!! 4:12

  • DUDE, I SAW THAT BAG!

    THAT WAS COOL.

  • Also, to Frank Zappa asking how "any one party could make that many mistakes."

Well, it's good thing he died in the 90's. If it wasn't cancer, the new millennium would have given him a stroke.

  • Zappa never took credit for anything he didn't do. He always gave credit where credit is due, and did his best to help people out. He was nice, intelligent, and modest (but not to the point of being self-conscious). He was generous, and is easily one of my favorite people in the world. I don't care that he died, though. Because legends live on, and the impact he had on the world just won't die, whether or not he cared to be remembered. The fact is, he will be. And so will all of his work.

  • big fucking titties...

  • How prophetic!!!

  • SEE THIS BAG??!!

  • SEE THIS BAG?!?!?!

    LOL WTF???

  • Gene Scott, heh.

  • It's a real education to watch this back to back with the Thicke of the Night interview. No flop sweat on Arsenio...

  • SEE THIS BAAAG?

  • lmfao

  • ROFL

  • "See this bag, I just shit in it!"

    next "commercial want to see?"

Next commercial "Whats that on your face?"

  • Hahah, the 3:30-3:47 bit said by Zappa is still relevant today! :)

  • Arsenio Hall was a shitty host but I liked him any way.

  • frank is in an unusually good mood

  • damn....i zappa wouldnt be happy with these last 8yrs or the 8yrs befor that.

  • Uncle Meat is also actually the name Frank gave Essra Mohawk when he invited her in The Mothers. She of course went on to record the landmark Reprise albuum PRIMORDIAL LOVERS and write CL's "Change of Heart."

Together, Frank & Essra recorded the quickie "Bizarre Beginnings."

  • great story, i never knew that

  • Frank Zappa followed by Mrs. Pool! dude i miss the 80s

  • Ignorance. It is the thing (but not the only thing) that makes America great. Thank you,Frank!
