Yeah, in a way they dislocate their jaws, but it's actually disarticulate, but basically it is just like dislocating because the snake disconnects ther upper jaw from the lower jaw.
dont wanna pick holes in what you said in your desription just let you now they dont dislocate there jaws, they have an elastic ligament that enables them to open there mouths wider than there head and there is to parts of the lower jaw so there mouths can stretch wider as well, :)

They really dont. They have elastic ligaments connecting the top and bottom jaws together :-).
