@wifebeater756 The hardest part was finding a 4bt with a clutch setup already on it. It had an sm465 gm trans. i just got an adapter for the gm belhousing to the jeep trans. Set the trans in the jeep, slid the motor on the trans and made motor mounts.
@bedspins did it have the inline 4 in it cause those trans are junk. They fail behind the 4 cylinder. They would deffinantly break with the 4bt unless you baby it
awsome jeep man seeing your makes me want to rip out my tired out 2.5 even more if i could find a cummins i would definatly do to me its a great engine for a wrangler good job
@mthsmouse ahh, the infamous 2.5. I have one too! And its getting a differnt engine also! gutless wonders they are, and my eletrical system screwed up so its a push button start that gets 11 mpg. Id could get at least 15 with a 350 and have the power to get out of its own way.

@BlohmandBlohmer I had to chain the Jeep to a tree and that tree was the best one. Any closer I might have got the Jeep stuck.

I had a bad connection to the winch. I didn't have time to fix it so I hooked it direct to the battery.
