actually he wasn't exagerating or lying, he liked to tell about the game early in developement and everything he said was going to be in the game, but they cut it before developement. There is a high chance most of the features will be retured via DLC.

You do not get to choose a breed of dog, or what (colours) should be on the dog, as what I have found out, the game will generate a random type of dog with random colour combination whenever you get one.

It was never intended for PC but Peter has stated that a port may come out after the original XBOX 360 version. But He said this process will take many months, because if he does work on porting it to PC it will be after the initial 360 release.
