  • nice video buddy. i have the sumo truck and i also destroyed the rear end. Something that woked for me was take apart the carrer in the axel to get into the spyder gears clean the grease out and super glue the spyders and you will have posi and i have yet to break it. keep up the good work

  • the sumo is faster then the losi micro dt my friend got the losi micro dt and i got the sumo and we race tem and the sumo one

  • @resdes213 idont own a dt so that may be true! im happy you on!!! :)

  • Great review, nice job. Too bad they dont use rc type batteries or brushless motors. I like the size for indoor action. And the price is really nice.

  • @kenmtb agreed dude! :)

  • Just use a 3S Lipo for the TX

  • @legoliker7517 i dont have one that fits inside :(

  • @TheKnifeCrazy Maybe you could cut it out--or just put it on the bottom....or if there's nothing in the bottom part, just cut out most of it and use the lipo as the bottom :)

  • @legoliker7517 that would work except that the lipo has a chance of blowing up upon impact! :)

  • @TheKnifeCrazy I'm talking about the transmitter(or remote, or TX)

  • uhm what does soaking your tires in gasoline do

  • @MrModzEverything it makes the tires softer which will make them grip to terrain better! :)

  • its like a micro e revo. lol

  • @puffmonster689 haha your right! :)

  • Pretty sure the tires have "treads" not "threads" lol what a tard

  • can i have i have it please

    i

    want

    one

    so

    bad

  • @MrRCdriver45 buy a losi theese r the crap rcs of the rc world

  • @totoandamigo i have a losi however with nimh batts its a GREAT 4x4 truck!

  • $60 for 12 rechargable AA batteries? What??? You can get a dozen energizers for $30

  • It will be faster with regular Alkaline batteries, because Alkalines are 1.5 v each and NIMH are only 1.2 v each. That adds up to almost a volt with 4 batteries.

  • @grk65 Nimh have a much higher discharge rating...(i.e.) alkaline batteries will last longer but not be as fast/powerful. Nimh will be much faster but die quicker.

  • @grk65 Nope.

  • theknifecrazy im getting the buggy can i race u when it

  • how fast does the sumo go??

  • @gogokid100 5-10mph depending on angle of surface, terrain, and how much power is still left in the batteries!

  • can u change controllers

  • @Jamielee91477 if you have a controller and the matching receiver/crystal then yes :)

  • Can you do a comparison video between the Losi and this? I would like to see a size comparison at least, and some side-by-side runs would be nice. Thanks!

  • I've had a Micro T for a few years now, and from what I've seen, they're WAY better than this. Not that this is a bad car, but still, WAY better. Out of the box they go about 10 MPH, and with the Optional Pinion, it'll do wheelies! But unless you get bigger tires, it won't go in grass. Also, if you get the car, pick up a Soldering Iron and some Solder, because you'll probably need it a few days after you get the car.

  • thats the same crystal for my remote

  • spend the money on losi micro

  • @bmartin22 i have already done so...check out my other videos :)

  • are you shure that the port in the transmitter is for the cord. i thank it may be a trainer port, but i could be wrong:)

  • @theevilweegeebros nope im sure :D but thanks for the view and comment!

  • i hav a truck and a truggy u should get the truck it goes a lot faster

  • @coolkid332ps3 i agree, i have see many comparisons, but if you want a car that actually goes fast get any of the Losi Micros and the HopUp LiPo for them!

  • @TheKnifeCrazy

what do you think of this rc car?

  • @MegaModelMan its a great first RC for a small kid, but if you are experienced or you want a little bit faster/better of a ready to run small scale RC i would recommend any of the "Losi Micros."

  • @TheKnifeCrazy

i already have a losi bit is it a good micro?

  • @MegaModelMan honestly, if u have a losi micro then no, buying this will be a disappointment for you.

  • would this make a good crawler with the 180 motor

  • @19birel no. it has differentials,no digg, no clearance, and no articulation. if you want a small version of a crawler i would check out the losi micro crawler.

  • Two Questions: Does the motor replacement have to be Redcat made, and how big can I go with the motor swap?

    Thanks

  • @fiyabun the motor replacement doesn't have to be RedCat made, although, the motor has to fit into the RedCat made motor mount or else you'll need to mod the motor/ sumo to make it work. and realistically you could put in any motor as long as you could make it fit. but without out any mods your stuck at the 180 size motors :( but if you do want to go and mod the HPI motor you mentioned in the other video i would strongly recommend you get the gears replacements aswell off Redcat's website.

  • That was an amazing price for what it really is.

  • @BEASTOUTBMX32 yup!
