  • It's an H-6 You can hear the Chime when the doors open at 0:22, Also you can hear the vibrations that the H-6 makes when it's coming to complete stop.

  • nice video man wat type of train was it?

  • nice job not getting caught, cause i did. LOL

by the way, was this a T series or an H series? sounds like a T.

  • The First car for the TTC(which also stands for Toronto Transit Comisson)is the best!

  • Take the streetcar?

  • You should get some shots along the Sheppard Line, before they close it!

  • i heard that they won't close but even demote it to light rail and extend it ant each end esp since ttc intends to extend the spadina line to york univ

  • When are they closing it?

  • The plan is to build light rail on Sheppard east of Don Mills. A terrible plan, since everyone will have to switch to a short subway.

  • They are actually not closing it because it has shown an increase in ridership. I heard it from the TTC themselves, they plan to keep it open, if not ectend it. After all, why close such a new line?

  • jesus that driver went fast towards the end, fuckin love it.

  • I love watching the little kids jammed up against the window of the front train car...reminds me when I did it twenty years ago!

  • due mta sucks ppl pee in there stations wen i went with my cuzin

  • dundas west was my hood

  • Pretty decent footage! As an advocate for railway and ground transport electrification, I am happy (Unlike New York City) that the TTC still allows for front end viewing for the general public (through clear or untinted windows! The TTC is one of my favourite North American public transport systems. (I have yet to ride the Spadina line)

  • The new trains will not have front windows, unfortunately.

They look a lot like MTA trains on the exterior.

Just search new ttc train for the video.

  • To: giantwarwock, Hmm...this is disappointing if this is really true. Is this a situation of a redesigned driver's cab the full width of the carriage with a windowless wall separating that driver's cab from the passenger area (such as the "Tube" in London, most systems where I come from in Europe and indeed Montréal)?

  • search new ttc train

  • Thanks for the info!

The new train looks very fun to ride when it comes out.

  • I visited Toronto and it is a great system. I took photographs NOBODY asked questions.

  • To: frankd1965, are you refering to the TTC challenging you in taking pictures (as I know that is ndeed a problem in the States), or not having respondents of having your pics online?

Also as it has been rumoured, is it true that the TTC has new rolling stock now without front windows for the front end viewing for the passengers?

  • Actually. I had taken photos of the inside of the cars and the stations. and no one in Toronto ever asked questions but, In New York City some Iranians from the UN Mission where questioned by the Transit Police about taking photographs and they made a big brou ha ha about it. About those Iranians. They back to Iran.

  • Frankd1965: Wow! Unbelievable! The MTA is STILL exercising this no photography policy thirty+ years later! Don^t they know what TRANISPOTTERS are? Amazing! Thanks for the scoop!

  • This is my 'hood

  • are u the driver or are u just beside him

  • Theres usually a center window that you can look out. The drivers compartment is like a little tiny room next to it.

  • one of my favorite stations
