only problem I found that magician would shuffle the cards before preforming a trick.. so that the spectator thinks that they are out of order. if you just bring up a deck of cards and you don't shuffle them half of spectators would guess that something has been set up

I saw my cousin do his own version of this; he flipped 2 at the start but didn't pause at all until the entire deck was dealt out (audience member I know personally but he'd never met called black or red) and flipped to show one pile all red, other pile all black... I guess he must have switched it at some point or something but I'm pretty stumped.

lol i do this trick to alot of my friends. i do it much diffent then you do. i let them chose why pile they want to put the cards in so in the end they think they put the cards in all the rong order but in fact its all correct lol. also you flip the pack over i just take the bottom card and put it on top.

I think Bicycle's the most convenient, and nicest for tricks involving double lifts because of the white edges.

I never said I was using the best packs, just the one's that most gaff decks are made of, Bicycle.
