AA the answer to your question is that We are expected to understand the meaning and idea of the particular opening. Then we focus on how Kramnik and Anand exploit and hold through those ideas
why are the opening moves often skipped or fast forwarded. i watch chess vids to see how grandmasters play the opening and most of the analysis start when the opening is over
@tassay you should try to focus openings through books and when you are familiar with the opening then you should try understanding the ideas of gms. Those ideas are based in the heart of the opening it self, and studying the opening by your self is the first step to understand high lvl play. Etc you cannot expect from someone to analyse to you the sicilian defence and the idea behind it just in one match .. you should become familiar of the ideas of the opening by your self through studying.
Some good points but maybe better in two vids, one to show the actual game with comments and one to examine the variations. Otherwise, too much to put in 10 mins!
19.Rxd4 is good but Anand had prepared for this. 19..Bxf3 is also the weaker movie. it reply is 19..0-0-0. also black will not play 21..Qxd1 his move is 21..Bd2. it is not obv that 19.Bc6 is the best. There is a lot of error in you post. if you say that i think this is good then ya but don't say that obv better when you don't understand the position.
18..Rg6 is a blunder and would not be played. 18..Ke7 is the move.
if white plays 19.Qxg4 black has 19..Qxb5 and now black has a big advantage
You state that black does not want his king in the center but that is where he is most safe. You line you give start with a blunder and black will never play Rg6 so you are missing the idea in this position. What your stating here in incorrect.
You say after Bxb5 that white has a clear advantage because he has a better endgame but it not at the endgame. Black pieces are so better place and he has the attack on white kingside he might have the advantage not the other way around.
The Nd2 line is very interesting, but I think you'll find ..Rg6 would never be played in response. There are various sacrificial lines involving something like ..d3, Rxg3 (believe it or not) and some Ke7 stuff in response to Bd7+. Worth looking into :)
Dmz17 Im trying my best, and i will get better with practice.I actually do this for myself to stay sharp.I get nervous doing the videos but hang in there i will get better as time goes.thx
If you cannot take criticism, perhaps you should not publicize your videos? Remove this comment if you will. I am certain you are a skilled chess player, but your presentation skills are still lacking.
Your accent is very difficult to understand

The line goes 18.Nd2!Ke7!18.Bxd7 Rg8!19.Nc4! with great complexity favoring the one who is more prepared.

Hi there, nice videos in general. But the analysis on this one seems completely shallow.
