  • The Lord must have been protecting you!  I can remember when Destin had schools of sharks. Then in the 70's the Japanese boats fished them out for shark fin soup. Then Destin started a Shark Tournament, and caught only one! It was tagged and released. My dad said that as long as you don't swim in murky water or at night, you are pretty safe.   • Fl is OK. Bahia Honda with Camping is OK.

    A swim in the water when a big shark just came out of nowhere. I was snorkling.

    That predator just rubbed. Scared me. I swam to the beach.

  • man I wish I can get there before it's gone, but my vacations not till mid july..

    I've been going down there every year for the past 7/8 years, a world apart from where I used to vaca at wildwood Nj.. so crystal clear and amazing.
