Not true by any stretch of the imagination. MJ and Pippen are two of the top 5 perimeter defenders ever, and I don't care who you say is better of the two, but the difference between them is marginal. And rebounding? Their rebounding numbers are pretty similar.

And the gap between their defense and rebounds (if there even is one) isn't close to the disparity between their offensive abilities.
