This is without a doubt the most impressive KB workout I've seen on Youtube... I can't for the life of me figure out how it's only been viewed 1,331 times. I'll be working on this routine tomorrow.
@thebooraa I glad you like it, keep your abs tight and drive from your hips and legs. The tendency is to pull with your lower back, but try not to. Good luck!
@vonhelmet HAHAHAHAHA... Behind the backs: First attempt: drop. Second attempt: drop. Third attempt: busted myself in the back of the head... And I'm no rookie with KBs either... Much respect. I probably could've used a second watching. I've got the hip drive down pat, it's the release with the wrist flick that's giving me sh*t. I did to pick up that clean/release/bomb catch pretty quickly, though.
@thebooraa LOL yeh you got to watch your toes also! ha ha try the juggling going side to side across the front of your body first. Then just do a hand off behind you back. Then try to tie the two together by tossing the kb behind your back. You will get! Keep me posted on your progress!
@vonhelmet Alright, so we're getting MUCH better. Got the side to side with release, even have the behind the backs working, still having some issues with the "flip", though. It looks like you start with the horn perpendicular to the body, and then it rotates to parallel in the "flip". Is that about right? I also noticed that you're catching it on the corner of the horn, and a little below the hips. We'll just keep practicing, I suppose.
@thebooraa Thats great news! I knew you would get it, just takes a little practice. The one your still trying to get, if it is the very last one on the video, that is the helo flip. Do a swing and at the top(face level) pull the handle sideways parrallel to the floor. It will do a flat spin and then you catch back into a swing motion. If you catch at the coner of the handle its ok if you are going to do another helo flip, but if you follow it up with a standard flip it may start to spin.
