  • Maravilhoso vídeo!!!

Desejo muito conhecer o país de meus ascendentes...País com recantos magníficos.

  • How beautiful and marvelous!! I've also visited the castles, the village, and Wieskirche in winter time, and everything was covered with snow*^-^* The area is just stunning and makes everyone feels like prince/ss. What King Ludwig II did for the country and the people might be incorrect, but what he created and left to us is so amazing!! Thank you so much for making and sharing this beuatiful video with lovely music*^-^* many*******

  • there is something about that castle that makes me want to go see it,It looks fantastic

  • gorgeous

  • Thankyou!

    Its such a beautiful place!

I felt like a princess in the middleages while visting it once!!!

  • can people just walk in and look around or is it closed for public?

  • Some you can look around others are owned by familys and used as houses

  • Thanks for the video! Regards ReisenTV

  • I made the same trip... I'm assuming you took the GreyLine tour? That hike up to the castle was something else when it was 91 degrees outside. The stop for shopping was nice, the owners of that shop must LOVE GreyLine tours for bringing thousands of visitors there every year. I'm guessing that tiny shop is one of the most profitable in the region. Thanks for the post

  • So ein hirnverbrennter Kommentar, shame on you.

  • hahahaha

  • its not funny. he's one rude asshole!!

  • I was there this summer! :D I didn't go inside tho.. Tourists tourists tourists, hot hot hot and I was tiired, but it's really beautiful :D

    Thanks in advance !!!

  • Some of Germany's greatest national treaures--it's well worth the trip!

  • richtig !

  • lol, FREAK

  • Someone was filming when they weren't supposed to... ;) lol, I only know because I went to take a picture and the tourguide reminded me that photography is only allowed 'out the windows' :P

But still... amazing footage. :D I loved this castle. I had coffee in it ^^

  • Do you know what is the best time of year to go to Germany? cause i may be going in June/July, Thanks.

  • the best time actually is june/july/august. july and august are the "hottest" months of the year (it gets around 30°) but there are more tourists than in june. best regards!

  • when will germany finally get rid of jerks like you?

  • I visited in 2003, this placce was amazing and Germany was beautiful.

  • I went inside and couldn't belive how ....uh extravagent this place is....

  • Cre7v:

The "Sun King"was Louis XIV of France, not Louis IX. The latter was a Roman Catholic Saint and lived in the Middle Ages. (Saint Louis, roi de France).

  • Certainly, this was a typing error...

  • The Name is Oberammergau not Oberamagau ;)

I live there and work in Linderhof in the garden

    Nice Video :D

  • The clocks you can see in Linderhof are origin from King Luis IX (the french sun-king) and the piano was used by Richard Wagner - the best friend of King Ludwig II. Behind Linderhof there is a big grotto with a blue lake inside where Ludwig used to listen Wagner-music.

  • You are very lucky to be surrounded by so much beauty and history. Deutschland ist fantastisch!

  • @Cre7tiv Thank you very much for your information. I didn't know^^ I visited the inside of Schloss Linderhof, but haven't visited the garden yet. I would love to visit the 'Venus Grotto' and Peacock throne in the Moorish Kiosk one day^^ Ludwig II had a really expensive and splendid taste^^

  • I love it, too. We live there... :-)

  • Alemania es bellisima

  • Muito lindo este lugar !!!!!

  • Great video, it brings back memories or my visits in 1993 and 1995. The little town is actually spelled Oberammergau, and it's nicely done up for the tourists. Neuschwanstein is an amazing castle that was never finished, it's still "under construction."

  • Neuschwanstein is like Rivendell or something like that...

  • Thankyou for your kind comments. I was there in October

  • Lovely video thanks for posting it. What time of year was it? I'll be off there soon and will hopefully be as lucky with the weather as you were!

  • Germany is amazing!

  • thank you for sharing this!

  • nicely done!

  • thanks for the video, that was wonderful!

  • good times :)

  • Wonderful !!! Thanks a lot...
