  • WTF IS ON THE TRUCK????

  • @Sternfeger8654 It appears to be carrying a weapon of mass destruction

  • Ok, guy who has to walk along side of it all day long... Worst job ever.....

  • What is the compagny? How munch do a heavy hauler in the oil field in canada earn per season ? I'm a trucker willing to go west, any help would be great.

  • @FreeWillFreeRide The Company is Mammoet, which specializes in heavy lifting and transport. They have offices around the world, with it's Western Canada Head Office in Edmonton. Heavy Haulers make pretty good coin but have a have added certification on their license, to be able to operate with the large dimensional loads. I look at their site and the are not currently hiring any drivers at the moment.

  • Good sized load.

  • Why not just build it where It needs to be?

  • @winston393 Blasphemy!

  • hahaha, only the dutch can handle such huge loads

    Mammoet

  • this reminds me of super mario bros 3 world 8.

  • omg wtf is that?

  • hey isnt mammoet a crane company too???

  • WOW

  • Mammoet = coolest company evar

  • thats them delivering my condom. non erected.

  • now thats what I call a load, reminds me of the thunderbirds, all we needed was their music

  • Oh god, man, I feel sooo bad for the guys who drive up to Fort Mac, but shit, they must be some of the most skilled drivers the world over.

  • By the look of the speed it's travelling, I hope they are not going very far.

  • why the f dont they just build that thing on site?

  • looks like a job for the thunderbirds

  • WOaH! thats a biG can oF POP!

  • YAY, a dutch company!

  • overweight? oh yeah I just got fuel.

  • That looks like an oversized load. Where did they make the vessel at?? BC??

  • @vanwahlgren in nisku just south of edmonton

  • that looks like a nuclear bomb

  • ALE URWAŁ!

  • At first i was like, wtf that is nothing! and at the end when i saw that big piece i was like HOOLYYY SHHITTT!!!!!!

  • I saw one of the coker drums being hauled up to Ft. Mac. and I counted 350 tires on the trailers. Also, there was 1 truck pulling and 2 pushing. When they got to the hills nearer Ft. Mac, there were 2 trucks pulling and 3 or 4 pushing.

  • why do people always cut the videos off short

  • @landlightning

it was 2.1 million lbs if I'm not mistaken...just over 1000 ton. I heard it was the largest, heaviest load ever hauled on Canadian public roads. They hauled it over 500km

  • @onebadsavage26 That's a big load, alright! For the coker I saw them hauling, that 500+ km trip took 9 days, if I remember correctly. No traffic could drive in either direction on the highway while it was in transit, because it took up the entire road. They would park it at roadside turnouts and move it only on days when traffic was light, thereby avoiding huge traffic jams because on shift-change days at the mines traffic is ridiculously heavy between the Fort and Edmonton..

  • @landlightning, I take it you live up here too(fort mac)? They had this parked at the wide spot and I got to go look at it close up. The video doesnt do it justice... it's huge!! I think it went to Voyager...where it now sits in mothballs.

  • @onebadsavage26 I used to live in Edmonton, and I logged up at CNRL one year, plus I've done other logging in the area, so I travelled through the Fort every so often, but never lived there. I checked one out up close as well, but I only had my crappy cell phone camera which later went kaput and took the pics with it, so I have nothing but my memory now. That was when I calculated that it had 350 wheels/tires on the trailers. That's about 30,000 pounds worth of tires alone!

  • i've been to fort mac so i now what's up there but i never seen a rig carry this much weight.

  • Wow.

  • wouldent the tyres pop because of the pressure

  • @DoffyCoffy Im pretty sure 320 wheels could handle that, your 4 tires on you car alone could probably handle 3x the weight of your car, if not maybe more depending on what tires you have.

  • you could fill up all the empty spaces with tyres and axles. (european way) But in the states it has something to do with the spread of the axles.

  • @xtraforte Its for turning those suckers, hard as hell the space allows a better turning radius, and the amount of axles have been engineered to handle the loads, also this is in CANADA not the states.

  • with a spmt you could steer every axle seperately and load it with 13,5 metric tons each. Here in Europe the spread is of minimal influende of the tonnage pro axle. You see most of these configurations in the Northern-American Continent. So nothing personal.

my sincere apologies. (also for my english)

  • Oh no apologies needed, i had seen many people saying from the states so thats why i capatilized Canada so some might catch it and read that quickly i meant nothing of it towards you. As well im not sure how this spmt would work, but i hadnt really thought of that. Thank you for the enlightenment though ill need to look into that.

  • You could search here in Youtube with the words SPMT and MAMMOET. There are several links to small recordings of the machines i mean.

Can you tell me why the wide spreads is used in Canada and in the USA? more detailed please, or send me al link in which it is explained? Thanks for a well meant answer.

  • uhhh....hey Billy bring me another oil tanker! She's runnin' dry! geez that's a big load

  • Вот это ни хуя себе !!! :))

  • Comment removed

  • just dont seem like it`s got enough tires for mammooet lol

  • mammoet baby

  • Nice load!

  • love those big ass trailers.. I wanna get into super heavy haul so bad.

  • can i get some gas money?

  • when i lived in the mac i watched loads like this and saw them staged on 63 every day!!

  • Wow, it almost looks like something from a sci fi movie. I didn't know it was possible to move something that big.

  • lmao i like this. especially that '50 MINIMUM' sign hahaha....that is supe badass though.

  • what exactly is a coker???

  • Think of it as a big distiller tank for separating the thick oil bitumen from the tarsands.

  • @lcrb its what they snort in fort mac

  • Mammoet is a dutch company. If you want to move realy, realy big things call the dutch. No other country can do what they can. On land or water.

  • what are there water macheins like?

  • What are those rigs in the back that steer?

  • Wow

  • sastank u stupid u must not know the meaning of -IF-

  • Now that's the kind of truck you'd stop for in the roundabout.

  • What kind of engines do those trucks run?

  • There are 3 big motors in these trucks

    575 hp Detroit

    signature 600 hp cummins

and the 650 cat that is no longer available they could not meet emitions regulations.

  • that... that is a hell of a thing.
