yeah but the chief is paid by the tax payer as well, plus if you pay a few hundred and get to wreck thousands your getting quite a good deal... when i crash my car i have to pay for it, i think they should do the same, it would save the tax payer a lot of money, and i bet the number of accidents and deaths caused by police cars would fall. i think 13 were killed in the UK last year by police cars speeding...

Not sure where you reside, but in the US if you crash your car your Insurance pays for it and you pay a couple hundred a year for that. But I get your point, if this doesn't happen then they city has more money to invest somewhere else. But I'm sure the Chief does give a shit cause he pays taxes too and he expects his hard earned money to be invested wisely just like the others.
