@Al123456ize I think it's more of a shrieking/whimpering sound. It's hard to describe but you'll know it when you hear it. My Lola had cancer in her spine and lost function in her hind legs. But when she started to cry from pain I knew it was time to let her go. I couldn't bare to hear her cry. My heart broke when I had to make the decision to put her to sleep. She gave us kisses right before I gave my ok as if she knew she had to say goodbye.

My 1st little girl dookie was like this... I miss her soooo very much. She was a special gift from God for sure. Had all these cute little things she did like your ferret and she would lie on her back and stretch her little legs in the air. I always told herI was going to buy her fishnet stockings..LOL. I know to some of you thaat made sense, others just won't get it. My heart broke when she passed away. I have a ferret shaped hole in my heart and can't wait to see her in Heaven.

I just got a new ferret from Petsmart, and she's extremely young. Only about 6 weeks. She's small to, but she's not calm. She burrows in the couch, bites, attacks toes, how the hell do I get her to relax like this? I know she could act like this because she's young, but we don't know how to calm her down. when she bites or does something wrong scruff her and put her in a cage by herself for a while, she'll learn eventually what behavior gets her treats and more play time and what gets her bored, alone and in a cage

depends where you live, Malaysia i doubt would allow ferrets as pets as they aren't a natural Malaysian species and so if they escaped they could cause untold havoc on the environment, i might be wrong though..

I love when they do that hand thing where they are rubbing their little faces. My baby doesn't do it very much, but when she does, I die of the cuteness. She is so old now and very sick but she still does most of the stuff she used to and still knows she is a very important part of our family and has been for almost 7 years. @brysonator3000 They do have scent glands in back just like skunks but when they are small they remove them before they leave the breeder. They do have a specific smell to them but it's not a powerful smell. My mother-in-law said she thought I sprayed her with perfume. They also do sell a ferret spray at pet stores that smells pretty good. You must clean the cage quite often to keep up with all the poop though. They smell way less than a cats litter box! My cat poops and you know it!
