That gameplay was... Discraceful. It looked like you were playing the game with a backwards SNES controller blindfolded. Adn that was YOUR gameplay? I could've beaten this game faster than you guys 17 years ago.

it's probably timeless because of it's good rate of speed and the fact that you lose by your own screwups instead of cheapness (such as platforms you can't see before you jump in bad platformers) as you showed in the video. I'm surprised you're complaining about it being sprite-based albeit it's a minor complaint, although it's no donkey kong country.

Not to sound like a jerk but of course the game is going to look dated its been around for 15 years. But I agree the game is still fun to play and has aged quite well, even though it still sprite based. Super Mario Sunshine is probably the trippiest Mario game minus Super Mario Bros. 2, the entire point of the game is to clean off paint off walls.
