the shift you all are talking about....began in about the mid-2000's....thats when Emo began to heavily assault the air-waves, and Crap-Rap began to squeeze the life out of the music industry. then in the late 2000's, the Gagas, Taylor Swifts, Miley Cyrus', and Justin Biebers came along for the kill. There was a lot of great Rock music from 2000-2005. But 06-11 has been horrible mainly. Daughtry is the only new commercial rock band thats keeping it going. they're an exception
