  • hey nice beat

  • I was in two minds at the time to try to use that as leverage considered he seemed happy to help then all of a sudden went off the radar and stopped answering my emails...but I fixed it myself using the method above and also at the time it had had pretty much no views so I figured I would just be barking at shadows.

  • .....Continued from previous....

the issue was the rubber pad underneath the problem key was a little bit shorter then the others.

all I did was gently heat the pad with a hair dryer until maluble, then GENTLY pull the pad upwards a little to stretch it to the same height as the others.

since then I have had no other issues with the unit and it is in my show almost every night.

  • @phillwilson If I were you I would put the seller's ebay username all over this video.

  • Just a post-script to this video...

The Ebayer never gave me any course of action to get it fixed, despite asking for this vid...I'm pretty handy at popping stuff open, so I did.

inside under the keys there are a couple of strips of rubber pads or , for want of a better description "nipples".

when you press a key, these fold into themselves to create the "weighted" action and press the electrical contact. ( which is a graphite pad).

    CONTINUED.....

  • Jaws durrrr dum.

  • I think the button under the key that gets pushed when you push the key down is faulty, perhaps changing it with a diffrent button, or sending it to KORG.

  • of course:)

  • I think we get the idea!

  • i wonder how many do this
