your stupid, the lens isnt a fisheye, so it cant get the full degrees of vision, but you dont want barrel distortion, so you take smaller ones and piece them together.

Like someone said, it's not a fisheye, nor a professional camera. It's a phone. No phones are capable of panoramas out of the box.
