I love this song. But Myung's basslines on the last two albums are disapointing. I'm a big fan of his work on the earlier albums, but it seems as though Dream Theater is just another paycheck for him at the moment.

So at the beginning, Petrucci is playing the whole acoustic sounding intro, but then when he goes to play the opening solo at 0:12, the acoustic part keeps playing. I've always been wondering how they would ever be able to pull that off live, so is it a backing track? Or is someone else playing along with Petrucci?

Now that I think about it, Petrucci is so awesome he probably does both at the same time!

you can do guitar slide in the piano is not a hard thing, if you know a keyboard they have a pitch bender (all the electric keyboards have that) and that is how you do a guitar synth in the piano with string bending fx
