  • DUDE dont fking use BSG music the STAR TREK :S

  • screw the novels its that star wars mole at paramount JJ Abrams that needs to go. All he wants to do is dumb down star trek into a all action special effects mess like star wars. I just can't tolerate it. So while paramount may gain some new fans it will be losing a lot of faithful old fans who are the ones who spend all the money on merchandising.

  • I am sorry but i cannot and will not buy into this abomination of the Star Trek franchise. The two most damning things are The ruining of the ENTERPRISE. The destruction of Vulcan. Unless these two evils are undone Paramount won't get 1 penny from me. The video you did was however well done but that ship still REALLY BUGS MEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

  • @woofdogmeow - I agree. The Constitution refit sucked. Kirk was a pansy and Spock was emo... but by and large it WAS Trek (and the music rocked) the last 'evil' was done by the novels already so -shrug- not really all that surprising. That said, while it was Trek, it wasn't what I wanted OUT of Trek... it was a kidification that was uneeded when all they had to do was what Gene himself had done. Jump forward a few hundred years - that said I still honor the attempt... if not the result

  • @2Scribble However, they had to go back to the source material (TOS) in order to reboot the whole thing. Sorry, but TOS is much stronger than TNG. But I agree that the ship is awful.

  • @woofdogmeow The ship stinks and destroying Vulcan was uncalled for. However, overall I think it was a good update.

  • @woofdogmeow Look up "Star Trek Phase 2 - Special Featurette" If you haven't seen it before you will get a laugh and say thank you Phase 2.

  • I really like the mix of the BSG music and the scenes you chose, excellent combo. I would have left out the voice-overs by Pike and Sarek (Greenwood and Cross). The Galactica music is very emotive, almost primal, which makes the Sanskrit sung poem work well, but a spoken voice over sound like the director's commentary, they just don't seem to mesh.

  • Awful.

  • I try

  • That was awesome!

  • Excellently done! This would make a great opening to a TV series based on the new Trek movie. This is impressive work.

  • Scottys expression at 0:53 is halarious!

  • I like this version better than "State". The music and the images, as well as the commentary from Bruce Greenwood (Pike) seem to suit each other better.

  • purdy ^__^
